Well...
Thanks to Bill and Morgan, and the boys at full blast for presenting this event. Thank you Ron and Tony for traveling far to emcee and speak. Thanks to the other presenters for preparing and then delivering excellent topic discussions. I must say... I've been away for a while, but I'm glad to be back among the fellowship of owners and contractors alike.
I remember the first year only ten of us got together in a hotel restaurant and went around the table talking about...I can't remember. Saturday's event was well executed. Thanks again to any and all that contributed; distributors, contractors, speakers, and the UAMCC!
The giveaways were great! The food was terrible (nobody's fault), and again the networking ....refreshing.

There were a whole bunch of guys there I would have like to have spent more time with.
Keep in mind at these events that things are pretty hectic during the day. Most of us who are speaking (except for Ron) are scared to death every time we get up in front of a group to speak. We are not professional speakers, we are powerwashers! lol. It takes a lot out of you to prepare for speaking and after you're done it feels like you've just run a marathon.
So most of the really good Q&A is done before and after the events sitting at the breakfast table or sitting at the lounge in the evening.
I'm happy to have finally been able to meet some of the guys I've only known from the boards. And REALLY exited to have made some new friends. Some of which I didn't think would ever be friends with me, but once we met in person all that forum animosity just melted away.
So next time you are at an event, try to set aside some time to hang out at breakfast and plan on spending a night or two hanging out in the common areas to get the most out of it. I know it's hard to hang around a hotel, especially if you have your family with you, but i guarantee it will be worth it. If you want to go sight seeing with family it might be a good idea to stay an extra day or two after the event so you can dedicate that time to your family. I know I've made the mistake before of traveling thousands of miles to an event, then missed out on a lot of the good stuff because I felt obligated to entertain my family. I missed a good portion of the last Tampa Roundtable because of that.

We all live in different regions and have diverse issues to deal with.
There's not a single event where I don't learn something substantive from someone else.
