Not too many pictures on here.

Re Photo # 4
I am going to assume you do not service the fire suppression system. you should contact whoever does the suppression system service and ask them to inspect the link holder, it seems to be loose and could impair the operation of the fire suppression system.

If you like chinese, you will never be w/o work

Now those pictures show exactly why we dont do hood cleaning. I would rather have mud from head to toe vs. grease..........

In the third and fourth picture you can see that the fire system actuator is bent! Watch those buggers, Especially if they are loose. Of course you probably have allready noticed.
Just some observation on my part.
I always check out the fire system before beginning any work.
Not only do the chineses tend to scrimp on the hood cleaning they also do not have the fire systems serviced at proper intervals.

Sorry to repeat you Doug, I dint read all the posts. I just started typing at the site of that link holder! LOL. Mtngoat.

In my 17 years of cleaning

I have set off two systems, One had the poll broken that holds the cable inside and the other was not set properly at the tank and was not serviced properly. thay had not changed the links for 2 years and they were there 2 days earlier. A Rag and tag as I call it... Those FU****S Cost me $250.00

'Racer',
When the links are that bad we won't touch the links &/or cables. We will scrape the housings, and light chem & spray only on the links. The only way it will look as clean as that is if the system is being disarmed & serviced the same night. Do you always scrape & clean the links that well?

ps I still wouldn't eat dinner off even your finished work!

I try to get the links clean every time
