Yes, it does move but not when you pull the trigger unless you didn't eat your wheaties and the wand gets away from you.

If you put a 17 degree bend near the business end of your wand and then connect your hook nozzle you can get into tight places. It is worth the money.

Just my opinon? I could be wong? (HeHe)

I don't think anyone will argue over $16 but why order something like that? Go to your nearest home center and buy a few fittings, add the quick connect plug and nozzle. You now have a hook nozzle. I've been using this for years, I plug it directly into the gun and it does a great job getting the top of a McDonalds hood just above the filters.

P.S. Be careful once you put it on the end of a wand, if you don't hold on tight you may break something.

I have built my own as well. I've never used it on a fan though, usually just the plenum above the filters and the back of the front of the hood. I have also tried the flex wand, not very satisfied with it though. Its very hard to control.
