Noise, won't start

Does your battery have a good charge on it?

If it's not the battery, you may very well be worrying about it soon.

After getting snot out of the line it starts fine now but the starter still kicks in and out.

I think the battery is OK. But I will charge it and put new ends on the connections tomorrow morning.

I guess if that doesn't fix it I will need a new starter.

Did you whack the solenoid real good? Maybe the teeth are to rounded on the nose.

You solder those?

Text me the damage Russ.

I'll need the engine code stamped on the block right up under the starter. It should be like "QAE2" or something similar.

I had something similar happen, without all the clicking. I guess it was just a no start. Anywho, Adrian from ABC (member here too) told me it was flooded. Now I understand why it's so important to turn off the fuel supply when traveling. I didn't think it was that serious. Glad I learned that early and it didn't cost me any money. Love this forum...

I usually just crimp them.

They aren't rounded off, it just keeps cycling in and out randomly.
