Hello everyone,

My first post after browsing this forum for a while. I currently work at a fire dept. full time 8 days a month. I have been working in sales/operations/marketing for my brother's large painting firm for many years now.

Meeting with the accountant with the always burdening question of LLC vs corp(it's driving me nuts)!!:barf:

I just purchased this skid the other day...Good deal $1700. I'm looking on starting in flat work; it's a Alkota 4355h with a 400 gallon tank, wands and some hose inlcuded

What do you guys think of this set up for general flat work, gum removal and the such...

Thanks, and look forward to your input..

Welcome, thats a steal at $1700. It should work ok for you to start you will want to pick up a surface cleaner and be sure to check into the recovery in your area as mentioned.

Welcome Michael! Like Paul said, you will definately want to pick up a surface cleaner if you plan on doing flatwork. It will give you a much more even cleaning, and save your arms. Do research on it to make sure you get the correct size to match your machines gpm output. Nice setup for $1700! :victory:

Nice rig for 1700.Looks like a 4gpm 4k psi setup with the 13 hp honda.I wouldn't get anything bigger than a 20 inch surface cleaner.I have the same size machine and have used 20 inch and 18 inch scs and the difference in speed is huge with the 18 inch.

Anything over 20 inch and you will not be fast enough.
