New X-Jet

Whats the advantage of the M5 other than a rotation tip. Will the spray reach farther with a M5 . I did hear that the lowest pressure setting is still not as low as the low pressure tip that attaches to the x-jet.I am a user of the x-jet , probablely would not be in buisness with out it.I live a couple miles from Mike bakers store , he sold me my outfit .I am sure he would like feed back .

From what I've heard, the M5 doesn't have quite the distance of the original, but the difference isn't significant.

The original XJet doesn't have a high/low pressure, it simply has a screw in 45 degree (I think) tip that allows you to apply chems in a wider, less forceful pattern. The pressure should remain the same with or without it. I haven't tested the M5's pattern compared to the original close range tip, but it doesn't seem all that different. Haven't used my M5 yet, so I can't really speak to how well I like it.

I got to use the M5 yesterday for the first time..........we've had it for a week now. I liked it very much, but I do notice it doesnt go quite as high. That's ok, because the adjustability is a real plus. It was very easy to use, and versatile.

I had no intentions of buying one, but while I was out of town, my guys lost our x-jet. I had to have one shipped in by air so it would be there for a job the next day. Many thanks to Bob from Pressure Tek for taking care of that for me. Steve tried to help, but we had a hard time catching each other on the phone. It was a challenge doing this from out of state.......I had to call my sister at work and have her pull up PWI to get their phone numbers!

Anyway, thanks again to both of you.

sounds like a great product.

It is! In fact, I'm picking up my 2nd Xjet M5 today at the South Georgia roundtable meeting. Everyone I know who has used the original Xjet and the M5 prefers the M5. The adjustable spray pattern is awesome, and the fan spray is much much better than the original with the close-in tip. I keep my original as an emergency back up, but that's it. The M5 gets used for everything.
