Nice, Looks like I have some catching up to do.

Don't worry about the competition? The way I look at it is simple. This side of the State has, You, Me, and JC. With that combination of professionalism, the fly by night guys don't stand a chance.

Larry, you and I know what the differences are, and no I'm not worried a bit.


Larry does make a very good point. With the umacc and the PWNC links, the locals will still find sites to learn from and orgs to join so what really is the reason for no PWI or NCE link? I don't know what the differences really are, can you please explain them to me?

All of them have info to help others learn, all of them have info on events, all of them have info to find suppliers/vendors, all of them have members, etc..... so please let me know what the real differences are as I just don't really see any differences, I just want to understand.

O.K. let me make this VERY CLEAR, Ron has always had my deepest respect and always will, I think I have shown that time and time again, and Ron also knows that. I have not disrespected Ron one bit, and if I have in some way then I apologize, it was not my intention.

That being said, I will put any cotton pickin thing I want on MY website, you don't have to understand anything and I don't have to explain anything!!!!

Chris, Larry, you guys have known Ron longer and better than I do, so let me ask you, wheres PWI, and NCE logos on your site??????

Hey Guy, I think you left yourself open for that one. If you put your site on PWI for everyone to see and compliment you on, then I would think having links to other ORG and omitting our's is a smack in the face. You are 100% right when you say it's your site and you can do whatever you please with it,
but expecting no one here to question why? is pretty ridiculous.
 
Nick, you're right I now see your point. Honest to God I did not think about the links being down there and how it may be viewed as disrespect, or how it may have upset some of the guys.

I hope that you guy's understand that I didn't or don't post stuff with an agenda, I don't play games, I shoot straight, no BS, you that have met me or know me, know thats the truth.

I will ask Scott to take the link down because I now see that it could be viewed as disrespectful to PWI, and I would NEVER do that!!!!!!! I respect Ron and the friends I have made here too much to let that become an issue.

I dont think you should take the link down, but I would think that you would want to add PWI to your site hell it can only help you. No matter where you post or what Org you sponser on your site, that info is there for the taking.

This is no doubt the most viewed site out of all BB's and there are more veterans here than any other. By the way the site came out real nice !!

You asked for opinions and you got them, the site is nice.

I don't have any logos or links on my site, just the way it was designed.

Nobody here was trying to tell you what to put onto your site, just asking a question.

Like I asked earlier, I was trying to understand the difference between not having a PWI link there when you have the other 2 links there and your comment to Larry about you two knowing the difference. I am asking what the real difference is.

Guy, leave the Umack logo up, all your local competition will logon to their forum and find out that PWI s*cks and Ron Musgraves is to be avoided.

Once there your competition will never get past the cold water wand and will likely take up painting and landscaping too! :haha:

That will be great for you. Heck, I might put their logo on mine too! I'll have to call Ken and ask him what the ramifications of my illegally using a logo are.... :sarcastic:
 
I don't understand what the deal is with the logos. He has links to two org's. at the bottom of his page, much the same someone would link to any org that they belong to. If I am thinking right that is one benifit of joining an org, such as any chamber, or the Better Business Bureau or U@m[[. I didn't think that PWI was an org? I could see the sharks in the water if he had links to ptstate, thegrimescene, wcr or any of the other BBS but he doesn't. i didn't see any link directly to another board at all on his site. Just sayin.

Hey Guy I think the site looks good, should get you some good business off of that. My closing ratio shoots through the roof for customers that have been to the site first.

I'm also a computer dummy and I have no idea about spiders(Except ones that bight) and things that make your website go up on the search engines and in reality thats the goal you want with your site is to get to that number one slot in the search engines because people have short attention spans and they are not about to go 3-4 pages deep to look for a site.

Hey Don If I remember correctly your pretty computer savy. That above quote doesn't work like a 2 way street??

I also,Like Guy have a couple of logo's on my website with the UAMCC being one of them. I paid for that for the year but I may take it down(Another story) or maybe just rejoin and start over with them.

What I don't understand Don is when you put these links on your website it doesn't bring your site up in the ratings at all??

I have Beth Borrego do my site and she is a wiz at this thank God because I will never ever pretend or even care enough to be a computer junkie...
