New to Fleet Washing and big equipment

Ok folks I know some more areas I want to be able to start washing; the big trucks, in & out of trailers, farm equipment, heavy equipment etc.
What's the best way to approach these companies to get the projects. It seems I'm the only contractor around the valley here that uses 210F of hot water.

I've been encouraged to get into washing the poultry and hog farms, I think I'd rather wash the trucks and trailers and equipment. I found out today that there is no Provincial Rules and Regulations for washing at the different poultry and hog farms. Meaning I don't have to buy more equipment and leave it at the different farms. Can't afford it, just starting out.
What prices should I quote each Truck & Trailer, Tractor, Loader, Backhoe etc. From 1 to 10, 11 to 20 what's a good method to charge? Do I quote low to get the projects then charge more next year?

People and their money don't like to part easily. I also live in an area where I have no other family members to speak of, as this is an area where 5 generations live and all that. In other words if I can do a great job then that speaks volumes more than if I was back in the big city. I do have a few friends that can and have helped out.
I've never cleaned these areas before, so any help to secure these projects would be much appreciated.

One of the main things you will want is a good soap. You can blast off dirt, debris and grease with water first.(if needed) You can then use a soap to get the stuck on dirt and leave the paint shiny. Some of this depends on what is availablein your are. I would check with trucking companies/ suppliers in the big city to get your soap.

Pricing is very difficult to determine from over here. You need to decide how much $$ you need to make / hour. Most trucks can be cleaned in 20 minutes or so, for the tractor only, the trailers can take a lot of time if you have to brush them.

As for approaching them, if they are clean, they are either paying for it already or do it themselves. Some do it themselves because other contractors are unreliable or do a poor job. You have to prove to them that you are neither of those.
If their trucks are dirty, you have to "sell" them on the benefits of keeping their equipment clean. From it looks more professional, they will have less hassle at the scales/inspections, to, their employees will treat well cared for clean equipment better.

If you are professional and reliable you will get work.
