HAHAHAHA!!!!
Home made roof cleaning skid that is.....
Wanted to mount the equipment in the back of the truck, but wanted to still be able to use the truck when needed. so I decided to make my own skid. Here are some pics during the build and the finished product...

Also some pics of it's first roof ....

My guess is that you will want the cheap vinyl hose and not Rubber, because Chlorine will oxidize it and cause it to totally break down.

Great job putting all that together Travis. The Roof Cleaning came out real nice. Scott is right about the hose though. You can get some Kuri tech vinyl hose like I have and you wont have to worry about springing a leak. Call Lori a Pressure Washer Supply and tell her I told you to call. I bought 200ft of Red Kuri Tech hose and it only ran me about .29 cents per ft. she carries all sizes. 1-727-424-6600 I don't have her 800# in front of me but that is the office #
actually she just signed up on PWI on Friday but hasn't made any posts yet. She will also be attending the Tampa RT.

Thanks Larry.. It started as a temporary fix, but I hav'nt had any problems yet so it stayed. But I will give her a call.... Thanks

Nice clean rigs. I hope that toggle switch is rated pretty high. I never found one that would last.

Get good hoses. When you spring a leak it will never be in the driveway. It will be in the middle of the yard of some guy that manicures his lawn with scissors or has exotic plants.

+100 :)

I was thinking of doing something similar, I have a 5'x8' small utility trailer that I need to use for other things, it would be nice if I could make a skid that would slide out so I could use that trailer for other things when not cleaning roofs.

Got any other pics? 2"x4" on the bottoms?

I will try to get some of the bottom. It's nothing fancy, just a little extra reinforcement where the hose reel and the tank are....

Looks great. I just wanted to mention also to make sure to seal the boards you put it on to make sure that it doesn't get corroded by some of the chemicals.

Thanks Travis.

I think that I will do the same thing, just have to figure out how to secure the skid onto the trailer when working, bolts tend to rust quick so something else if possible.

I don't want it able to slide around but with all that weight, maybe just hang some long bolts through the skid through the trailer bed might be enough, maybe some hitch pins that are very long would work also.

If its not going to be permanant on the trailer you could just use ratchet straps to hold it down. Maybe put some eye hooks on the bottom side or something of that nature..
