New pressure washer build

I'm just posting this here for future reference and because some people have shown interest in it.
Here's the specs:
Yanmar 4tne86 aka tk486 and 4tnv86
34hp at 2200rpm diesel
I'm using the legacy gx1036 pump which is 10.4gpm at 3600psi.
I know I could put a little bigger pump on it but I figured if I don't push the engine too hard it should last a long time. the average life on these engines is 25,000 before needing a rebuild and the rebuild kit costs about $6-700.

This engine was out of a refrigerator truck and was pulled because this model doesn't meet current emissions in California.

Recommend oil and filter change interval is 3000 hours, (three thousand)

California is tight on emissions. Just like for every diesel powered burner on every pressure washer here the AQMD (Air Quality Management District) requires a $500 permit fee per unit. No one is enforcing it though and nobody has been cited as far as I know.

That's great for me ;) I live in Washington so maybe I can hat a few more of these engines?

That's an awesome interval. You will save over $1800 between oil changes just on labor and oil compared to an engine with a 50 hour interval (assuming time and materials per change is about $30). What did you pay for the engine?

I paid $600.
The guy I bought it from bought 5 or 6 to put into boats and then his wife told him to clean out the garage for a remodel.

These engines do not have a sae flywheel so I have to make an adapter.
This is the hub and shaft I am using

just a few weeks off and on between jobs and freezing weather LOL

Why not just put a hydraulic pump on it and use it to run multiple pumps, transfer pump, vacuum or anything else you want?

I've been planning my dream rig and I'm thinking that route.

That wouldn't be bad but I'm trying to keep it simple.

The combination seems just right! Why not a gear drive Ben?

Two reasons:
I'm just trying to keep it simple, and I might add a generator head later on

Radiator mounts and alternator bracket.
The radiator mounts get 1/2" rubber on the inside
