New Machine on its way, new to this

Hello,

I am new to this board and to this industry and thankful for any help and this board.

I have a new machine coming (6gpm, 4000psi Hot water machine) and will be specializing (for starters) in cleaning heavy diesel equipment (loaders, dump trucks, excavators etc).

I have a separate tank on my trailer that has a chemical injection pump but after doing quite a bit of reading it seems that downstreaming a degreaser may be a better/quicker/more efficient way to go.

The machine is still being made as of right now and I was wanting peoples thoughts if I should go ahead and add another tank (25 gallon or so?) so I can put chemical in it to have the option of downstreaming along with my option of applying chemical with a separate pump ..

Any guidance would be much appreciated and thanks in advance for the help.

Todd- Welcome to the board, it is nice to have ya! Sounds like you made a good choice with your machine - the specs are nice! If you have the space another tank will be well used. I say go for it!

I would definitely downstream, it's much more effecient which adds to your profits. You'll just have to get a good injector like the Super Suds Sucker or Pressure Teks Hi draw and some good soap/degreaser and play around with your mix ratios. Once your setup to DS you'll never go back.
 
Get a turbo Nozzle or three, and I would also make sure that I had the option of upstreaming. Of course, that is a personal preference.
 
Thanks for the replies and help, I REALLY appreciate it. Its nice to have some help from pros out there. I will go ahead and see if I can get an extra tank on this machine, seems like a good option to have.
