I am an Home improvement contractor , doing lawn irrigation and asphalt sealcoating . Been cleaning some roofs over the years for long time customers . Never realy thought of adding it as a regular service until last year . I was cleaning a roof and 4 neighbors wanted theirs done . Been using SH from pool suppliers. My first job I used back back sprayer , it took forever . Now , I have seal coat equip , with air diaphram pumps , I thought why not use a similar set up for the roofs ? I dug thru my crap in the garage and found an old sandpiper pump , some hose and a spare wheelbarrow compressor and a 55 gallon drum . The set up worked well for a season till the pump corroded away . About a year ago I searched "roof cleaning" what an eye opener . Been lurking on a few forums , found some intresting and helpful information , but , I never expected drama like I was reading on some forums . I just set up a dedicated encolsed trailer for doing this so I wouldnt have to keep loading up my truck , picked a couple plastic Air diaphram pumps from a car wash supplier . PVC pipe and fittings all from my irrigation business. Matt
