New Dual Roof Pump System

Looks like a great pump Paul, can you get one of those pumps through your supplier with the same gpm's and about 90psi?

Very soon there is anew one scheduled to come out that will blow your socks off but for now 60 psi at 4.5 gpm is as high as we can get, at a reasonable cost. I tried to design a system that would be both durable and not cost a fortune which is why I went the way I did.

Thanks for the info Paul, that is good to know.

For those of us who don't do roofs. Is this system that much easier to use? If there is no need for a ladder I could be intrigued. So it's squirt on from the ground and rinse off from the ground? No walking on a roof?

You could do that on many roofs and others you should be able to spray from the gutter line. It's tough to say all roofs because some are pretty crazy and wind can always be a factor.

If you are going to get into roof cleaning, there will be walking the roofs if they are not too steep.

Better control of cleaning chemical to prevent runoff so less burned/killed grass and plants.

Sure you can spray from the ground but all that runoff will be coming down to do some serious damage.

It is always better to walk the roof so there is less overspray and runoff so less chances for damage/killing grass and plants.

The few times I tried to spray the roof from the ground, it seemed like everything I sprayed up there came down after wetting the shingles or tiles so lots of watering the whole time. After you burn/kill grass and plants from the excessive runoff, you will understand what they all say about walking the roofs and sooner or later get tired of replacing the plants/grass.

Good Luck.

You can buy just the pumps if you want, they seem to be better than a lot of other pumps out there. I plan on getting some soon to give them a try.

One of the good things about these pumps is the lower than average amp draw, I think that it is like 6 amps, more or less which is good for a pump with those specs.

Amen to that Chris, it is always better to walk a roof, if possible, as far as cleaning it goes. Plus, you just can't always shoot every roof from the ground because of the way some homes are built.
