New Dual Roof Pump System

Doug Rucker

Roundtable Host 2009
A few months ago I asked Paul Kassander to help me come up with an equipment list and special pricing for guy's that attend my Pressure Cleaning and Roof Cleaning School here in Houston Texas.

I wanted to be able to provide the students a one stop distributor
that could provide everything they need to get there business going and at a very competitive price. One of the things we have been
working on and testing for the past few months is a roof pump system that the students could get for under $1000.00.

It also had to be something that I liked and used if I was going to promote it to the students.

Paul sent me three diffferent systems to try, (one was a dual pump shure flo, one was a single pump Delevan Fat Boy) and the one I have chosen that is pictured here.

The Roof Pump System you see pictured here is one that Paul had specially designed for The Pressure Cleaning School.

This system has two pumps, both 4.6gpm, 60PSI. I am not sure of the name brand or other technical information, but I am sure Paul can chime in if you have any questions.

I am extremely pleased with this system because it by far exceeded my expectations. Here are a few of the things I like about it:

1)Running one pump I am able to shoot 45-50 feet easily hitting the tops of many roofs either from the ground or the gutterline that I was not able to with the shure Flo's or Delevan. (Last weekend using the Delevan while cleaning a tile roof I was barely able to reach the peak from the top of the ladder. I then switched to this pump to do a comparison and was able to shoot OVER the peak from the GROUND.)
2) If I need too, I can have two guy's running one pump each. (One guy could be cleaning the roof while another is cleaning the house)I could also run both pumps at a time if I wanted, achieving 9gpm, but I doubt I'll ever need that.)
3) I for the most part will only run one pump, so I always have a back up now. If one of the pumps goes down I can simply switch the hose over to the other pump and keep right on going. If the pump that went down needs replacing I can simply order another one from Paul, have it shipped, and in the mean time I just keep right on working.
4)The base that Paul has designed has a nice cover that cover's the pumps and keeps them out of the elements. It also has corner brackets for the battery to sit in and slots for a strap to strap the battery in and put in a battery case. This unit you see in the pics was actually bought this week by Roger Lin of USA Pressure Wash. Roger attended my first school back in March.
5) The Price - Starts at about $850.00 complete with everything you need to start a roof cleaning business. Pump and Base as you see, 1/2 inch poly braided hose Gun's nozzles, etc etc. There are upgrades you can purchase such as hose reels, upgrade in hose etc, and all that can be discussed with Paul.

Here are a few pic's of a roof we cleaned today using this system as well a couple of the system. In one of the pictures you will see Nathan Wilson hitting the top of a two story roof from the ground. Nathan was here this week attending The Pressure/Roof Cleaning School and today was the day he learned about Roof Cleaning.

This, in my opinion is a top quality roof pump system at a very affordable price and I highly recommend it to both newcomers starting out and veterans in the business as well. It is very lightweight and portable and can be moved easily when ever needed.

If you have any questions you can Paul at 855.351.9274. You can also call me or email if you'd like, but Paul can really answer all your tech, warranty, brand etc questions. I do not make anything off the sale of these, I am simply sharing something that Paul has worked hard on for me and the students that go through my school and just wanted to help sell some of these if anybody is thinking of purchasing a roof pumpsystem. I appreciate all his hard work in designing this system.

That's very tempting.
I'm really interested to see how long the pumps hold up to the Love.

This could be a game-changer.

Same here Thad. This has always been the biggest problem with 12 volts. I absolutely love my system but would not mind entertaining the thought of having a system like this if even just for a back up. I agree, bring it to Tampa. This just very well be the next best thing for low pressure roof cleaning and house washing. Great job Paul and Doug!!!

It would be nice if they brought it and did a demo in Tampa, I would like to see how far it will spray and how high.

Anyone ask Paul if he is bringing one yet?

That is awesome Doug! Love it

Thanks but it's all Paul's design and spec's. I was just the tester outer. And now proud owner. Well will be as soon as he ships mine. Funny thing is I am back to using the Delvan Fat Boy and using it compared to this one is like using a Home Depot PW'er compared to a professional rig.

I love Coffee, that must be how I came ou with that design idea...and I thought I was just smart dang....

I will have one at Tampa for demos and will be offering a special as well.

The pump is modeled after a Flojet but is a private label brand that was special built. It has an extremely low amp draw (6 amp) and will shoot up to 50' with a #30 nozzle and 300' of 1/2" hose running through a poly trigger gun.

Yes I have the pump for $121.36 with shipping includes to anywhere in the lower 48 states. Part # is 5450. It has a quick connect style barb system so you need to let me know if you want 90 degree or straight barbs. Standard is 1/2" but I think I can get 3/4" barbs too.
