Need Opinions

Hello,
I,ve looking to get another cold water machine i do houses mostly.My question is do most of you prefer belt,gear,direct drive pumps i have only used direct thinking about belt need opinions.My choice is 13hphonda with cat pump .Thanks all I keep thinking i will have troublewith belt slipping or breaking.
 
Suggest you search this and other boards, as this subject has surfaced several times. I personally would get a belt drive (don't worry about slipping) with a GP pump (parts cheaper). I would base the size of the machine on the pump you get (higher HP/psi = higher HP). While you won't need the pressure for house cleaning, you may want to invest in a 4-5 gpm/3500 psi system for future business growth.
