I need some help on decideing what kind of unit to buy. Have been doing some research, just checking to see what kind of units you guys have or would reccomned.
thanks

I have always used Hydro-tech stuff, simply because they have a dealer 20 minutes from me, however I think this answer is subjective. I would also suggest you look for Pressure Washer dealer in you area and go talk to them. There is also a section here for dealers, you may want to ask this question there.

P.S. they will need to know what kind of work you plan to do

I would guess that razorback is thinking about exhaust cleaning as that is the forum he posted in...

You will get many different answers anywhere from 3-5 gpm and 2000 - 4000psi but the one thing that you cannot do without, I think everyone will agree, is HOT water. Everyone will have different opinions on brands etc. We use Landa, yes they cost more up front, but I know we can depend on them at 3 o'clock in the morning!

yes hoods are what I want to clean.
Thanks for your replys,I really dont know if there is a local dist. for pressure washers here im sure there is I will just have to do some checking.
I know I will have to have hot water, what do you guys like for the burner system? elec, disel, propane? thanks.

diesel is better than propane, but I have never used an electric heater (the price of electricity is too high in California!)

Whitco is located in Siloam Springs. They are a manufacturer of pressure washers, etc. Check out their products on their web site. http://www.whitcoinc.com

We like propane because it is much cleaner than diesel fuel. Our stand alone boiler is from Whitco. Very good piece of equipment, it also can make steam!
