Need help on box truck set up for pressure Washer

The clearance on the truck is 11ft 2 inches I believe.

Thanks Daniel... The clearance on a flatbed is about 7 3/4'. Eventually I'm looking to go to an Isuzu NPR HD flatbed. Not sure about diesel or gas. Considering the cost of a new trailer and 8 gpm hot water unit, that may be the "in-between" stop. It all depends on how it happens.

what provides power to electric hose reels?

Same thing that cranks the pressure washer....12v marine battery.

It powers the fat boy if you need it to! Speaking of trucks... Guy, I saw that trailer you got recently, why not a flatbed?

My bad Guy, it was Jim from Grime Busters LLC

We're looking at going more compact and efficient for the majority of work we do. Enclosed box truck is for security and cold weather/weathering & other issues, plus huge butt billboard. Nothing wrong with flatbeds just going this direction for a change.

Haven't bought or built a trailer in 2 years.......which is a record for me.

Guy I bought my box truck for the same reasons: security, weather, and billboard. It seemed like all the little odds and ends plus machines really took a toll from the weather, my machines were less than a year old and the Florida sun and rain had them lookin 2-3 years old. But that's not the kicker of what sold me on a box truck...someone stole what wasn't mounted one night off my 16' trailer rig while parked at the shop, I went to go to work next morning and noticed my stuff was missing and was furious!!

Replaced everything that day, bought my box truck the following week, and installed security cameras...wont ever happen again, live and learn, I love my box truck!

I use a 14 ft box truck, a lil tight but everything is accessible...I got lucky with aluminum flooring

Caustics will eat holes through aluminum so watch what spills on there. I've had it "burn" a hole through the corner of one of our box trucks after an employee spilled some on the floor and didn't clean it up well.

I put drain holes in the corner to prevent water and chemical build up in the case of spills. Of course none of them lead to anything under truck so not to ruin truck parts

Hmmm... This would work on a trailer as well!

One good thing about box trucks is that you can put tool boxes, generators, hose reels and other stuff under the box so it takes up less room inside the box.

One of the guys here on PWI has a lot of cool stuff under the box truck he has, I think he has a slide also on some equipment so that the equipment can be worked on easily when you slide it out. Some very cool ideas there.

That works if you always park in the street :)

Always park in the street, I have over 300 ft of pressure, garden, and chemical hose, there's never been a situation where I couldn't reach from the road

well I take that back there has been those rare cases where customers have a massive driveway and then Ill park on their driveway, I love cleaning big driveways...easiest 1000 dollars I've made lol

Sounds like a cool and well thought out rig.

Post some pictures of it if you have some.
