Need Advice on Vinyl Fence Cleaning

I have a Job for Sat and it is about 500 ft of Vinyl Fence. The fence is not real dirty but needs a good washing, any advice on a cleaner or will water work just fine? I have never had to wash this stuff before and I know some of you have washed Vinyl Fence before.

Any advice would be Greatly Appreciated, Thanks.

No I don't do Houses, 99% of all my washing is flat work. I was going to try Dawn but was not sure what to mix with it. The Fence is just Light Dirt not to bad, but I want it too look Nice and Clean when I'm done. What kind of mix Ratio are you using?

Sometimes that vinyl fence is a little harder to clean then it looks. If it's a few years old it may be oxidized to a certain extent, you'll be able to tell this because it doesn't have the shine that a new section would.

You'll probably want to have some bleach on hand to make it a lot easier. In a 5 gallon bucket, pour 3.5 gallons of water, add 1.5 gallon of 12% and add a surfactant. Apple dawn will work, as will tide as mentioned. You can then downstream this do the fence. Allow several minutes for dwell time and then rinse at low pressure.

That's how I'd clean it, anyhow.

Wipe your hand across it and see if it is oxidized. If so, watch your pressure or it will look like a hack job when it dries. I rinse with a very soft tip on most vinyl fence because usually by the time people decide to get it cleaned it is oxidized.

It does not look to bad, I think the fence is about 3 to 4 years old maybe newer. I can tell that there is a little yellowing to a few parts of the fence but not bad. It is just not as white as a section of the fence they fixed from wind. but over all it looks to be mostly dirt from the wind here in NV that is always blowing. I will look it over a bit more today if I get a chance, I have to wash it this weekend Sat or Sunday. It is in a doctors office complex and no cars will be there on the weekend.

Out here we use 3 cups (blue) dawn and 2 cups liquid Tide (w bleach) to a 5 gallon bucket and DS it. If we are working on a shiny surface like vinyl we add two cups of water softener and if that doesn't reduce the hard water spots we squeegee before it dries.

Our problem is this time of year is trying to rinse before it dries. It slows everything down when the wall dries every two minutes.
