Need a hand fixing this metal

I had an exterior seating area to clean that had exterior grease build up above head level. I got some of the chemical on these doors. I have not tried any remedy yet. I did rinse the doors at the completion of the service and wasn't even aware of the spotting. It wasn't until another service tech was at the location that I was made aware of the problem.

I used a general cleaner and degreaser that has a couple of strong agents, butoxyethanol and sodium hydroxide. The mix level is proprietary so I'm not sure of their strength. I haven't used this chemical on aluminum before so this is new. Anyone have any suggestions for correcting the problem?

Here is the MSDShttp://www.nclonline.com/documents/download/2015/0/Chem-Eez MSDS English.pdf

I put the degreaser on with a pump sprayer. Looking at the doors the spots seem too heavy for it to have been from the pump sprayer directly but perhaps in the rinse process?

One other note. I did clean the awning beforehand, using SH. I don't know if that would be a factor...

You put a corrosive on anodized aluminum, and it ate the finish. I know of no fix for it.

Ouch that's not good. On occasion I've been able to blend issues like that by wiping the aluminum down with a mild caustic or even easy off oven cleaner. It will usually darken the color slightly but will blend mild spotting. Those look pretty bad to be honest but you may not have anything to lose in trying a small inconspicuous corner.

Thanks for all the helps guys. I'll let you know what happens. The one good point is the customer hasn't said anything yet.

Glass polish from the hardware store, the one that looks like clay, and elbow grease. Bar keepers friend, the liquid one.

I went back to the job this morning. I tried the old faithful Bio Clean as the first option. The doors cleaned up great! They actually look better than before the service. I think it was topical residue from an insufficient rinse. Thanks for the help everyone. I was anxious about getting the doors looking good again. We took care of it before the customer was even aware. Now they will see a great looking awnings, walls, and doors!

Whew.....glad that worked out for ya Jared. Was worried about that one for ya. Hey, looks like you found a nice "add on" service to boot.

I am a little slow on the response but I was going to suggest a mild cleaner like soft scrub, it looked like a surface build up to me. Glad you were able to get it off..
