NCE meetings & round tables 2011

I talked with Mike with the PWNA in Charleston about health insurance. He said that found someone to offer health insurance but when it came down to buying the contractors didnt. It was either the monthly was to high or the co-pay was to high. I think in order for it to work you need to set it up like a company health care plan. Show them (insurance company) how many members the org has and negotiate a rate that is beneifical for both parties. You have to remember that you cant make everyone happy. I worked for a company that had 21 locations and a total of 110 employees. Our health insurance was 69.00 for single and 175.00 for family. With a co-pay of 15.00. I know that the orgs have more members so there should be a way to make this happen.
