President CHDCA
The only way that the smaller hood cleaners can go after the national contracts is by working together as a team of independent certified hood & duct cleaners.
Now I realize that becoming certified has become quite a hot topic on the pressure washing board with lots of circular logic. I think that there are those of you that might be willing to join with us depending on how it will affect your business.
Here is where the rubber hits the road. We are aggressively pursuing national contracts with restaurants to compete against those who have the ability to clean national contracts.
We need people that are cleaning the grease exhaust systems the way that they are supposed to be cleaned, to bare metal following the NFPA 96 2001 standards.
I am formally inviting you to join our Certified Hood & Duct Cleaners Association and join with us as we go after these national contracts.
We offer Lifetime membership and your certification remains active as long as you are in the business of kitchen grease exhaust cleaning.
We offer newsletters, online bulletin board for our members, e-mail updates and a live person to answer your questions. Our members are like family members and are not treated as just an account number, but as a real person.
Now obviously I can't guarantee you any clients just by joining our network, but I can say that you will add strength to our organization by being able to cover your area.
Now I realize that you may have no interest in joining with us, and I can understand that, but please at least look at our web site or call me and ask about our organization.
I look forward to hearing from each one of you and hope to add you to our nationwide network of independent certified hood cleaners here at the Certified Hood & Duct Cleaners Association.
We currently are in 17 states & Canada. We will be adding members from CA, CO, TX, & HI within the next 12 weeks.
Requirements:
Be a Certified Hood & Duct Cleaner (CHDC) from the Certified Hood & Duct Cleaners Association. See our website http://www.chdca.com for all of the details.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Be owner/operator of a kitchen exhaust cleaning company for at least 12 months.
Provide 10 before/after picture sets of restaurants that you have cleaned.
Provide proof of insurance, bonding, & business license. (That is that you are set up as a legitimate kitchen grease exhaust cleaning company.)
We recently went to the National Restaurant Association show in Chicago and have gotten leads on over 12,000 restaurants that are interested in our network of Certified Hood & Duct Cleaners giving them bids.
We are currently working on getting contracts from several very large restaurant chains and will need members in all 50 states and all the provinces of Canada.
We are networking with the Fire Marshal associations.
We are networking across America with industry leaders such as Ductmate (access panels) and Omni Containment Systems (grease gutter) to provide high quality add on products for our members to make money selling.
I look forward to us joining teams and raising the bar of kitchen grease exhaust cleaners across America.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call or e-mail them to me.
