I recently set up a 13 HP engine with 7 GPM. This thing is PERFECT for residential washing! Washes houses almost as fast as an 8 GPM, sips gas like a 4 GPM, and still has just enough pressure to run a 20" surface cleaner on driveways! This thing is amazing!

Yeah, it gets about 2000 PSI. It's an AR XWAM7G40N.

Josh that's a great setup your in nc now take that chain off it's ok now haha.
Lol. I lived in some towns with pretty low crime rates back home. I thought they were safe, but I had two separate machines stolen within a couple years. Not taking that chance again.

I personally think that chain can be cut through with a pair of bolt cutters. I would go to Ace Hardware and get the thickest chain and thickest lock they sell and put it on there chained through a 5 or 10 gallon propane tank.

In case anyone gets any ideas of using a torch to cut the lock off with.

Thats funny....or just run the chain through your 5 gallon fuel can! Kapowee!!!! locks and chains only keep the honest people honest!

lol funny seeing a pump almost as big as the engine

Lol I'm not THAT worried about it. As long as I make it a little more difficult than grab and go, I think it will be fine.

Nicely done Josh.

Thanks Eric. Your old PW made a good platform to work from!

I found the pump, can't find a gearbox. Did the pump and gearbox come together? May I ask where you got it?

They were sold separately. Got if from powerwashstore.com. I'm sure Russ would have what you'd need as well.

I agree about the chain, that is a very small chain.

You can get large bolts and/or U bolts and bolt the machine down to the trailer and that will help deter the vandals, deter but not stop.

Crime is getting worse all over and a chain like that would not stop anyone here from walking away with your machine in less than about 30 seconds and you would not hear them.

Bolting the machine down will help but bolt it where it is very hard to get bolt cutters at the bolts and remove the handle, you might be able to drill out the bolts so that you could put the handle back on if you want to but that handle is a way to help the theives take the unit, without it and with it bolted to the trailer is going to deter them. Don't let pride and lack of trying to secure the equipment be the cause of a rig getting stolen these days. Good luck.
