my new logo?

need some feed back on a couple logos.. I am going to make some different ones I am just trying to see if I am on the right track or do I need to pay someone to make it.

I like them both. The first one is eaiser to read. I personally am not a user of orange. Thy other colors. What program are u using.
 
I am using Logo Design studio , you can get it at office max its cost like 19.00$ I would like to get a better one but the good one from Logo Design is 89.00$
 
The one on the left to me looks like a movie ticket or something. I like the concept of the one on the right - the swirl could be like a surfacer (which of course only a company would see - customer maybe not so much) Text is a bit difficult on the second though. Love that software though - I use it :)
 
I looked at them without clicking on them because that is basically how people will see them if they are on your shirts or vehicles. Left wins everytime! Very clear and simple. If I have to try to figure out some complicated scheme behind it, then you have already lost me, next.
