My most difficult bid thus far

These are pics of a bid I put in for a township the other week. The entire playground including the fence and picnic tables needs washed (not stripped) and stained with a semi-solid. This also includes inside of the playground towers and bridges. I had to really focus when taking measurements and guesstimates. Kind of had my head spinning and second guessing myself at times while figuring up a price.

That's a lot of wood !

How much sqft you end up with? What you staining with?

I came up with roughly 22,500 sf. There was a lot of guesstimating, so I hope my numbers are close.

I won't find out if I get the bid until the Board of Directors votes on it. The supervisor that did the walk-thru with me said they have been using a stain from Sherman Williams. I am guessing DeckScapes because he didn't know for sure. He said the most gallons they ever used was 60 gallons, but is looks like the previous contractor missed a lot of interior items.

That would be a nice project easy to clean but a pain to stain!

Good luck hope ya get the bid!

That is a ridiculous amount of surface area to stain. Will be very nice if you get the project.

wow! good luck man.
whats up with all of the names on the fence posts? people who have made donations? are they engraved or painted?
