I just recently got back from a week in Dallas where I attended my third annual LPA convention (Little People of America). LPA has held an annual convention since 1957. It is a week which attracts around 2,000 attendants each year from all of the United States and some international visitors. It is a week full of fun, hanging out with people who are literally on your level and for me and many other sports enthusiasts is a week of highly competitive competition. We compete in Basketball, Soccer, Football, Volleyball, Track & Field, Swimming, Bocce, Table Tennis and Badminton.
Probably the highlight of the week this year was playing football at Cowboys Stadium my team didn't medal in football however we got a silver in Soccer which is my favorite of the team sports. Plus I followed up with Gold in the 100m plus my team got Gold in the 4 x 100m in track. That makes it 3 out of 3 Golds for the nationals for me and I am the reigning world champion, taking gold at the World Games in Belfast in 2009
