Hi all

Hope you all keeping well.
I was reading other posts on here about plumbing up to pressure washers
togeather and was wondering, has any body ever put two heat boxs onto
one pressure washer or added an heat exchanger from the exaust of the motor on your pressure washer.
Extra heat needed for chewing gum removal.

You would only need to do that if 1 heater wasn't big enough due to high flow.

Hi Russ

Thanks for the reply. The burner is quite adequit for the water flow
of the machine i was just wondering if i added a second burner would it
increease the tempature of the machine.
has any body ever used a heat exchanger run of the exchaust of the power washer. The same way truckmount carpet cleaqning machine do

Davy

ps hope this dosent sound stupid.

The heater you have...is it 12 volt or 120 volt? With a 120 volt burner, you can increase fan size (if necessary) and put a larger fuel nozzle in to increase maximum temperature.

A truck mount uses not only the engine exhaust but the blower exhaust as well. Besides that, carpet cleaners aren't heating 4-5 gallons per minute.

The other thing to consider with carpet cleaners is that most of the unit are not designed for constant trigger pull. They clean a section then release the trigger and just vacuum the area for increased drying. The bigger units use a propane hot box.

The blowers do not offer very much heat though, the heat exchangers get most from the engine exhaust.
