Mixing Chemical At The Job

I don't do roofs but mixing on-site seems to give a more professional look since your mix is "specially formulated based on that customer's specific needs", right? :)

Thats where I am kind of torn. I think that a setup like Tims is great, and looks very professional. However, I dont carry extra SHC with me, cause I would have to carry it in the 55gl drum in the bed of my truck, and pumping from one of those, into my chem tank, doesnt look very good in my opinion.

I do only carry SHC most of the time and then fill up with water when we get there, But I usually have around 30gl left over, that gets carried over to the next job.

I set this truck up so that we never have to climb up and pour anything into tanks or leave a chance for a spill or injury during filling/mixing stage. If we just cleaned roofs I would still use this process simply to adjust ratios and mix fresh additives for each roof. The agitator in the tank does a great job of mixing up your solutions. We are always making changes to our system so this picture is older, but I just wanted to illustrate the process.

Tim i think by far you have the best rig out of any one here. . its not the biggest or smallest its not the most expensive one or the cheapest one but DAMN it looks SO PROFESSIONAL and STREAMLINED!!!!! I LOVE IT> > > PROPS BROTHER

I totally agree! I would love to see Tim's washing rig up close. It is so well thought out and most importantly FUNCTIONAL.

I am set up to there I drop a hose into my 15 Gallon jug of juice and use my pump to pump into the large tank. I do like to mix on site for the professional look, plus I use two different roof mixes, depends on how crusty the roof is. I need to be flexable. I also use the tank for softwashing siding. Oh and Tim when my rig grows up it wants to be like your rig!

Jeffrey , That cargo strap looks familiar. We must have shopped at the same store. lol

Tim your rig is VERY impressive. The agitator looks much more professional than my mini canoe paddle! Jeffrey I wish my supplier sold 15's that looks like the way to go. 5's are too small and a pain to pour. 55's are just too big for now. Nice to get ideas.

I guess we are pretty spoiled in Florida; we have pool suppliers all over town pumping fresh bleach directly into our supply tank.
