Miscolored shingles after roof cleaning

It ain't you babe. What you are seeing is a function of uneven shingle fade. All shingles fade, everything fades. It looks as if the shingles were installed properly, i.e., stepped and not ran straight up the roof. The issue is that shingles from different run lots were used. And they were not properly blended when being installed. It happens.
There is nothing at all that you could have done different. There is nothing that you can do to change it. If you followed the manufacturers cleaning instructions, any claims to be made would need to be made by the building owner to the shingle manufacturer under the terms of their warranty against fading. Good luck with that. The warranty claim will be denied based on the fact that the installer failed to follow the little note on the shingle bag to blend shingles from several different bundles when installing to avoid unattractive color patterning.
The shingles are now as clean as can be and as bare as they will ever appear. The starkness of the contrast will fade gradually because nothing exposed to the weather can maintain this state of laboratory clean for very long.

What was your mix? SH to water ratio? Not saying that you did anything wrong. Just starting from the beginning.

20 gallons SH 45 gallons water, 32 oz Fresh Wash, 32 oz Roof Snot.

Did you spray the entire roof? From the picture it looks like a pattern of missed spots.

Those patterns are very geometric. Unless you intentionally cleaned in those specific patterns, the mixed batch shingles theory holds up.

What would he have done? Used too much SH? Can that take the color out of the shingles? The PM said she has had the roofs washed twice before and this was never an issue.

Did you mix the mix good. If you don't mix the S/H good you will shot pure mix on the roof.

I like the different batch shingle theory, but do you guys see the clean strip below the galvanized pipe. That spot is being kept clean so it wouldn't have anything to do with fading. But because those are such perfect patterns there is no way you can spray like that.

Also take a small (capful) amount of SH and pour it on the roof in a hidden area by the satellite. If the shingles change well then maybe you messed them up. If they don't, then there is no way you did it. Rather than staying in limbo trying to figure out if you did it or not. Find out how the roof was cleaned before.

Some of that looks like the guy before dumped a couple of bottle of store bleach on the roof. Got paid and ran.
