Minimum Charge?

Just wondering if you guys do a minimum whether it is one truck or ten. I am not asking for specific numbers but if you want to share then great. In my floor care biz we charge a min. of $75 if it is in my town. If we go out of town then it goes to $100 and up the farther we travel. My thoughts as of now are that you might have to be around $150 min. to make things feasible with fuel and wear and tear on you vehicles and equipment.

2 hour min, one of those hours is considered drivetime though. Still kinda low as I have seen guys do 4 hour mins around here, but it does depend on what part of the industry you work in as well. I do only commercial/industrial, its considered standard for these industires

We have a $125 min. I've changed it up and down a few times but I stick w $125 min.

Commercial work is $125 minimum charge and residential is $185.

I take it you guys are not doing fleets or are doing other work as well. It may for the most part be the same but was primarily wondering about doing fleet work.

We are at $135. A fleet would have to have a minimum number of vehicles, or pay a premium to make it worth it. That number depends on your company, and it's needs.

I offer fleet washing, I just sub it out is all.

Im pretty much only doing fleet washing now. I usually won't even bother for anything less than 3 trucks or so. But it all depends on what the customer wants done. Distance, how often they need them cleaned. Water on site? Reclamation? When you will have access to the trucks? Chemicals needed? Lighting for night work? Do you need to move the trucks? About 150 would be my minimum. Hope this helps.

That's not totally true actually. $250 if you want scheduled residential. If you need a one side of house thing, we will do it if we are coming through the area for less. But we won't set a new day schedule on anything under $250

When I do trucks I don't show up unless I have 2 units, which are typically dump trucks + trailer. I don't have a set schedule with these guys, but I don't make enough $$$ with fuel costs for anything less then 2 trucks. If the guys ask me why I just ask them if they make any money driving across town for 1 short load.

When I was washing I would tell them one side was the same price as the whole house. I never would do a partial job. If you only do part of the house and other parts are somewhat dirty it makes you look bad when someone asked who did the work.

We have a 1 Million Dollar Minimum. We haven't done any work yet but man when we do I'm gonna be rich.

Lol, let me know, I will help out on that job.
