So here I am on a small budget, gotta pay the bills you know! The van was killing me on gas 20 to 50 a day on gas. I guess I have it better than most with that kind of gas bill, but still killing me! I decided to go with a small trailer to put my equipment on to be towed with a smaller V-6 engine! The van is now for sale! Its small but Im already loving this thing! Its all a roofer needs and then some! Kinda reminds me of the Hotwheels Micro Machines in the 80's! I'll do signs next week!

That is not bad little setup for house\roof washing. I have 5' 7' yard trailer that I trying to setup trailer says it can handle 2000Lbs but I am trying to keep it low want to setup 50 to 100 gallan tank wife keeps saying small steps.
 
There's nothing wrong with "micro-rigs". I run one myself, a '97 S-10 4-cylinder 5-speed. My MPGs average in the mid twenties.:cool:

Hose reels are accessed via the passenger side window of the cap, tool boxes can be accessed via the driver side window of the cap, and things can still be loaded from the tailgate as well. It works fairly well, although I wish I had a 1/2 ton with an extended cab so I had room to haul the kids too...

I would like bigger truck also Chris small truck does not have the power or the room.

There is enough room for KEC, but it wouldn't work too well for anybody needing a heated pressure washer.

I used to cram everything in the back of my truck until I got a sweet deal on a pw trailer setup. Sometimes its not what ya got but how you use it!

It does the job, but there isn't a lot of extra room. Everything on my rig serves a purpose, there is NO room for needless supplies and/or tools. I REALLY like it's compact size too, because there are a LOT of situations where a bigger truck (especially a truck and trailer) just wont fit.

100 lb propane tanks for my hot water. Don't have to mess with diesel fuel for heat. 1 hooked up and 1 spare. I just took off the spare tank for extra storage room.
 
Jeff, is that engine bolted to the plywood? If it is you may want to mount that on some sort of base plate so it doesn't break off.

Nice compact rig though.
 
It is bolted through treated lumber planks 1x4x8, followed by some angle iron I welded to the galvanized trailer.... Galvanic poisioning sucks when your welding! Had to drink alot of milk! Its all held together by same large stainless bolts, with lock washers and locking nuts!
 
Hey Jeff, Do you ever have any issues with running out of chemicals during a job? Especially churches and bigger jobs like that? I like the trailer, Nice and simple!

That will hold just keep an eye on the wood under the base, the vibration will wear the wood and swelling an shrinking from moisture may make it loose as well.

Yes that is some bad stuff, not much fun to weld.

I used to wash houses and roofs using a 55 gallon plastic drum. I would always have a hot mix of apple sauce in buckets to add to the drum if needed. Add the hot mix and top off with water to finish the job.

Al, I remember your rig from the ATL RT. You had the black tank. I am happy with mine. I try to make it a little better every day. I like the hose reel set-up you have.
