marketing ideas for new area

hello,my name is wayne hickman.I'm new to the pressure wash institute and I find it very informative.I recently moved from florida to north carolina and I'm trying to start my pressure wash business in a area that I do not know anyone.My question is has anyone ben in a similar situation.Any ideas would be a great help.I do fleet washing,houses,roofs,commercial work.thanks
 
Wayne when it comes to fleets and commercial nothing beats hitting the bricks and shaking hands. I've never been that good at residential marketing to the homeowner. Some say fliers, some door hangers. Maybe fliers to realtors. The only residential I get is from realtors since that's the only group I market to. Check into a local real estate board they usually have memberships for vendors etc. If so you may be able to get an email list. For me that's the most cost effective and successful marketing. Good luck.

Call Jeff LeCourse in MB... He moved into an area and started a business that is quiete successful. You can get his phone from his signature line. He is the real deal and will give you good information. I do a lot of creative marketing, feel free to call.
