Mandatory Health care coverage

Get use to it, if nothing is done soon Big Government will be telling you how many kid's you can have.
 
This is a bad deal. Our health insurance broker has been keeping us informed as to what is quite possibly coming, and as you can see, it's not good. From what we've been told, there won't be much as far as restrictions as to who will be getting it, so that means that the lowest class will be the biggest burden.

Wanna keep having illegitimate kids and live off the system? No problem! The middle and upper classes will pay for all of your (and their) medical costs and give you money to raise them! Why not get started now!!

It's also looking like the employer will be on the hook for covering the costs of insurance by paying anywhere between 65% to 75% of the employees premium. Nice! Currently we are covering 50% of that. I guess they are presently debating whether or not small businesses will still be held to the same standards.
 
Boy that sound like few other countries that have that one starts with C I know going to come to me wait it is canada and the other country is UK. both have this medical plan and it ever realy worked those countries what makes them think that it is going to work for this country.
 
I was born and raised with socialized medicine. Bad experience. People really truly believe it's free and they couldn't be more wrong. Lost my best friend at 19 and my grandmother last year because the government couldn't prioritize and make up their minds regarding whom needed treatment the most. People would sneeze or stub their toe and run to the Dr and just waste valuable resources. If the feds cannot effectively run the VA or SS or whatever, then it's beyond me to think that they can run our healthcare system here. We need tort reform not more power grabbing.

Does anybody out there have any memory of the reason given for the establishment of the DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY ..... during the Carter Administration?

Anybody?

Anything?

No?

Didn't think so!

Bottom line ... we've spent several hundred billion dollars in support of an agency ... the reason for which not one person who reads this can remember.

NECESSARY DEPARTMENT

IS AT $24.2 BILLION A YEAR

IT HAS 16,000 FEDERAL EMPLOYEES

AND APPROXIMATELY

100,000 CONTRACT EMPLOYEES

AND LOOK AT THE JOB IT HAS DONE!

THIS IS WHERE YOU SLAP YOUR FOREHEAD AND SAY

"WHAT WAS I THINKING?"

Ah, yes, good old bureaucracy...

And NOW - we are going to turn the Banking System, Health Care & the Auto Industry over to government?

May God Help Us !!!
