Magna Blaster

Looking at buying an 8gpm @3500 psi, 2 gun trailer mounted set up. Would love for it to be a mobile unit but don't think one water outlet would be enough.I have considered the magna blaster trailer set up with 300 gal water tank and two 25 gallon chem tanks. If anyone has any information on these it will be helpfull

An 8gpm rig cut down to two 4gpm rigs give you two rigs that you can't wash anything with. You are on the right track with an 8gpm unit. Just don't try to break it down to two. 5.5 is the minimum anyone should try to wash with if they do this for a living and that is to little in my opinion. All of my trucks have 2 8gpm machines.

I agree with OffDuty..
but for water-supply reasons, and reclaim too..
I push 6-7gpm at 4000 psi,
or dual pump systems of 12gpm or more..
it delivers through longer hoses easier..
In ALL ways.. the point is WorkSpeed
..aka.. productivity.

What will you be washing that 2 guns running only 4gpm will be productive? Car lots so you can have 2 guys rinsing them down instead of one guy? I would not do any commercial work with only 4gpm as you will be stuck with small surface cleaners like 16" or 18" for the small water flow. You might be ok with house washing with the smaller flow but more gpm's you can work faster.

I would stick with the 8gpm machine and don't split the flow.

More than likely you can buy a used rig or build a rig with the same components for a lot less than a new rig with a fancy name. You can think up a better, cooler name to call your trailer once you save a ton of money building it yourself, probably save enough money to get a second 8gpm rig so you can have 2 guys working about twice as fast as 2 guys with only 4gpm.

There are rigs for sale right now on the bbs's, check them out. Also look on Craigslist.com and ebay for some great deals.

We use mostly 4gpm, ill put two guys on a fence to strip or wash it with two machines or larger decks one guy on each side. Its nice to have the flexibility and ill run 1@8gpm if desired

2 vacuuming surface cleaners at 4gpm each, on tile 'n grout
would go like crazy.
Hey, it's winter, and I'm thinkin' INteriors. Eh?
there's opportunity indoors too.
..can you say.. "Instant capture" ?

We run 2 off an 8gpm for interiors with finaminal results!
Then, we flush under equipment w/ 1 gun when we hit nasty kitchens.

I do mostly patios, drives for residential customers and occasional large concrete cleaning for post construction. I currently own a Delco skid 5@3500 and three 13 hp Honda, 4@4000. Lot of dragging hoses to different outlets. I was thinking one water outlet would run two machines with two, two hundred foot hoses.
