Low Pressure/High Volume Udor vs 12V Roof Pump??

Im considering buying the Water Dragon Udor 10GPM machine from Paul/Bill to throw in the back of a pickup and use just for Roofs & House washing. The Drop in Skid setup with chem tanks, hose and reel is 5K

The other option is the dual pump 12V 7 gpm Roof Cleaning setup at around $1500 give or take that would be mounted in my enclosed trailer which would mean that would always be on the road

My enclosed trailer i will keep for commercial stuff and fleet work that i have. It would make life a lot easier to have my guys do house wash stuff working out of a pickup

Anyone have the Udor Water Dragon? Is there enough umph to House wash with??

I have the 12v dual pump and have done some house washes with it and rinsed with a garden hose. it was slow but i had no other option while i waited on some repairs to my old machine. For the jobs I did it worked fine. I can only imagine the water dragon would work even better. it will apply the soaps faster and will rinse much much faster. I would just think there will be a lack of pressure if you run into some stubborn stains that need a little extra help getting off

Jason- that is my concern...

Mike, we love ours and found them to be great even at removing some stains that need a little extra help as Jason mentioned. Granted, sometimes you have to get right up on the surface, but I am continually surprised at the amount of pressure that it puts it out. Pre site inspections determine to us whether or not we will use this or downstream and have a little more pressure if needed. But 90% of the time this Udor system is used over the downstream system. Usually only on a house with a lot of really badly stained brick, will we use the pressure of the pressure washer.

I also like how well the udor takes down wasp nests as well as dirt dauber nests. But I especially love using one hose only and how much lighter and easier it is to maneuver versus a pressure washer hose.

The udor is more than enough to clean a house your chems will be what should be doing the cleaning the pump just does the rinsing. The only time we would ever use more than 300 psi at a house wash is for concrete cleaning. the udor will put out 300 psi so shouldn't be a problem.

We get some pretty nasty brick here that the all the chemical does is change the color of the THICK Mold and Mildew, and we have to use some pressure. While the pressure from a 12V or Air Dia does nothing to it, the pressure from the udor will....which just surpassed me sometimes how well it does..The combination of the high flow of water and pressure seems to do it.

I still want to know if its possible to downstream with a udor diaghram pump. I love the 10 gpm but don't trust running chems through it, and don't want to walk back and forth to switch from soap to rinse. Doug, are you able to test this out with your machine? I know the fittings are set up for barbs to ag hose and not high pressure quick connects or 3/8 npt for soap injectors, so it might be a chore. But no doubt the other posters are right that the difference between 60 psi (12v) and 300 psi (udor zeta) or 560psi (udor kappa) is a big big deal.

If you don't wanna go back and forth just get a remote?

We have had the Udor for over a year now and all we do is change the Pump oil every 100 hours and the gear oil every 160 hours. DunRite Yes that is the Udor in use. This system has affectively cut our time is half. One employee washed 11 2400 square per side duplexes today from 9 till 4:30 with a 30 minute lunch. I love it

Wow, that's impressive indeed!

We built this ourself. We have a 3.8 GPM for chemical transfer, a 7 GPM for roofs and the Udor 10.5 for house washing. It works great and we are planning on building a second design and maybe even selling them in the future
