We are looking to add another truck and am getting prices on a new Hot Water Machine.

Would like to get prices on something thats at least 20HP, 3500+ PSI, 5.5 GPM and must have a float tank assembly and hour meter as options.

We have gotten some prices and specs from distributors that I know, but trying to see what else is out there.

If you could email a price quote including delivery charge to 27021 along with specifications to hoodsplus@gmail.com it would be appreciated.

Appreciate all the timely responses to my request. I chose the Power Pro 6012 from Russ Johnson. I was absolutely comforted with the knowledge that Russ has about these machines and his willingness to answer any question, anytime. It's invaluable to have that wealth of knowledge at hand to help me stay on top of my game to help serve my customers as best I can.

I received the machine today and love it........... Keep that phone line open Russ! And thanks again.

You are very welcome, thanks for choosing us for your purchase. If you need anything at all, don't hesitate to call.

components that weren’t put on the machine, water box, hour meter, splitting the pressure line for 2 guns etc…. Three weeks later, from my garage, the machine went on the back of My truck, for training the techs how to use it, and to keep my van set up to continue cleaning for now. It’s maiden cleaning was on April 5th. We get to the job, get the machine set up start it up and No heat! This is not the first time I have run this machine, but the first job that it was on. I called Russ and he had me check a few things, lose wires etc… being a new machine, nothing should be broke.. After a couple of hours pushing pulling wires, starting and stopping the machine, I pushed the wires onto the terminal of the oil pressure switch. This is not a typical oil pressure switch, it’s a switch that Pressure pro uses to make and break the burner circuit in case the engine dies. When I pushed it, the burner came on, let it go, the burner goes out…… Russ had pressure pro send me a new switch, which Pressure Pro swears they have had only a couple of failures, ever! By the time we got the machine heating, my crew had already finished the job using cold water… This was a good thing because now the hose that came with the machine is leaking very badly at the swivel.
I moved the unit from my truck to the back of a van and trained the crew on 1 more job before once again, No Heat! Mind you, this was a one hour job! I call Russ and after several hours we found that the igniter gave up the ghost after 7 hours of run time……. I was hoping they would last longer than that, but apparently not. Due to time constraints (needing this machine to do work), Russ asked if I would purchase one locally, which I did and Russ send me a check for reimbursement. A few days later, again NO HEAT!! It was at this point I went to Verizon and got my own cell phone, 2 numbers were immediately entered into it, Russ Johnson’s and tech support at Pressure Pro.
I called Tech support and spoke with a guy named John. I explained the machine that I had, and the issue that was having with it, john didn’t care, he wanted a serial number. I could not locate the serial number based on where John was telling me I could find it. However, I would think that telling him that it was a 6012 machine, ts2021 pump with an 18HP Vanguard would have been enough information since this is the only model I could see they made with this set up. The conversation lasted about 10 minutes with John saying he wasn’t going to help me without a serial number, and if there isn’t a serial number, then it wasn’t a Pressure Pro machine. I informed John that I would be notifying Russ that he did not sell me a Pressure Pro Machine….. According to Pressure Pro. After discussing this with Russ, I had a direct dial number and email address of one the other tech support people, Steve Pauley.
I redirected my no heat issue back to Russ, and we determined that the coil on the oil pump wasn’t working. I think we were both scratching our heads on this one since these coils hardly ever go bad. Through Russ and Steve at Pressure pro, by 8 am the next morning, I had a new coil, pump, electrical leads, and fuel lines. They said to replace everything and send back everything when done. Once again, we were up and running………….
Unfortunately, not for long……. A few days later NO HEAT!!!! RUSS I called once more. Within minutes, we found out the problem was the thermostat. I had one here so I put it in and it worked perfectly once more. We go out to the next job and the hour meter goes dead…… How does an hour meter go dead?? Oh well I said, it’s just another thing but at least I have heat…………………… for a few more days then NO HEAT!!!! Remember that switch that never goes bad, well, the new one I put in is leaking again and not working. I took it out and put a plug in the hole and hooked the 2 wires together. Of course a new switch was in the mail along with a new hour meter from Pressure Pro. However before they arrive…………. NO HEAT!! Again, call Russ…. A little more Irate now, Russ diagnoses it as another thermostat. I replaced the thermostat with the one that Russ had already sent me, and the machine works fine. I told Russ that the only variable I could think of was both times the thermostat has gone, we blew an O ring in the QC right there under the machine within a few inches of the thermostat. Russ immediately sends me a 2 foot lead hose and fittings to that QC away from the thermostat.
The crew gets to the job that night and NO HEAT!! They bring it back to the shop, I call Russ and the heat works….. It goes back out to the job site and NO HEAT… this happens for 3 days in a row and I finally told Russ and Steve to FIX IT! I was done spending more time on this machine than actually doing work with the machine.
Steve went to bat for me at Pressure Pro but the “Power to be” said they would do nothing about the issue I was having with this machine. It was at this point that Russ stepped up and said he didn’t care what we had to do, the machine was going to be working, or he was going to replace the machine with one of my liking! PERIOD! Russ’s only concern was that I had a machine that worked! I talked to my wife about that and thought that because Pressure Pro won’t do anything about their poorly build equipment; that was no reason for Russ to have to shell out $5k to $6K for a new machine. We discussed just taking it to Kentucky to let Russ look at it.
Later that afternoon, Russ called me and asked if there was any way that I could bring the machine to him, he would pay for the gas, hotels food etc… So we agreed and we headed out late Thursday night to Russ’s place. Upon our arrival there mid morning Friday, Russ was ready to unload the unit so my wife and I could see the town. I said “hell no, when on earth would I ever get another opportunity to learn how to work on this machine like the one I have right now, what better teacher”.
Russ found a lot of lose and poorly crimped electrical connections along with a burned up and shorted out wire on a solid state unit that Pressure Pro puts on their units.
Russ repaired the bad connectors and replaced the burned out wiring along with the solid state thing they use. He adjusted the burner, repaired my original leaky hose and after a few hours sent me on my way with a working machine…. Finally!
I will also add, if anyone has a problem with your Pressure Pro Machine and you have to call tech support, call Steve down there. He’s a great guy and knows his stuff. His hands are tied in a lot of circumstances but he does go above and beyond to insure that you are satisfied with their equipment. Steve called me yesterday because he hadn’t heard from me in 4 days and was wondering what was up. I told him of my trip to Kentucky and what Russ had found. He wanted pictures so he could take them to the factory to get answers!
But that’s not the reason for me writing this. What dawned on me while driving back, was that for the past couple of months, Russ Johnson has received a call from me almost weekly, and sometimes every day for a week, some, really not nice phone calls also. That threw all that, Not one time did Russ ever ignore my call, deny responsibility, move responsibility to Pressure Pro, get testy with me, lay blame anywhere. Every time I would call, I can remember Russ saying, “John, What do I have to do”,. He would offer every second of his time that I needed on every phone call. A couple of times he would get another call and ask that I hold, but he was back in just a few seconds. I told him one time to go ahead and take the call, he said that he was already on a call and would call that person back.
Throughout this whole ordeal and literally hours of phone conversations, somehow it got passed me how Russ handled his customer service. Everything that I ever though customer service should be, was right there absolutely every time I called Russ. Not once was it ever about Russ, a bad piece of equipment, poor workmanship on Pressure Pro’s part. It was all about getting me going, getting me what I needed. When I ordered this machine, I ordered from Russ because of his knowledge, I was nervous about the distance if anything ever happens, but I found out that this wasn’t Russ’s first day in dealing with out of state sales. Russ knows how to satisfy customer needs across state lines like he was your neighbor and he answers the phone as if he was always in the office, but more importantly, he treats his customers like they are his business, which they are, it’s just refreshing in today’s business world where we are so busy covering our butts and being politically correct that we have paralyzed ourselves into thinking that’s it’s the right to do things.
Russ I thank you for all your help, assuming that we have fixed the problem(s), which I feel we have just based on how the machine works now. You are a true asset to your profession and to us all. We all owe you more of our business just for your availability when stuff happens. Everyone’s service, parts and equipment cost money, but your knowledge and willingness to help is absolutely priceless!

I have only dealt with Russ about as many times as I drank with him LOL. But he handled a problem I had and took care of it asap. Way to go Russ

I have all Pressure Pro machines most are cold water, the cold water are fine machines, not much that can screw up. The hot water, I would now look else where

I had a problem with a 8gpm hot a few years back and the distributor wouldnt do crud. I called and called and he ducked calls and when we did talk he was a real PITA nut case. I ended up putting it on one of the BB's and the distributor went more nuts, to the point I almost got in my truck and was going to travel 9 hours and kick his..... I was amazed he actually had a business selling a dealing with contractors. But first I called Pressure Pro and got a sales rep for the area and he put me in touch with the owner of PP, Mr. Reed (nice guy), less than a week I had a new 8gpm at my shop and sent back the other.

I have a feeling they are trying to make the machines to affordable and using lesser qualityparts, wiring etc. I will still buy cold water PP machines

Sounds like Russ is a smart personable guy who knows his stuff and is willing to do the right thing. It also sounds like Russ should sell a diffrent line of pressure washers.

I'm glad you got the machine sorted out but bottom line when a machine that new dies or never runs to begin with you begin hemmoraging money the second it doesn't work due to lost revinue and your time which you can't put a price on.

Thats awesome. Great to hear Russ! Thats A-1 customer service. Thats how its done.
By the way Jeff Russ doesnt just deal with P.P. I hear he can get a mean 8 gpm Hydrotek hot water unit.

I have a Landa hot water, had a problem with the burner going out. When I went into some of the wiring down by the blower. I was very surprize to see wire nuts holding wires together and that was the problem all the wire nuts were loose and some wires werent connented when the box was open. I have only own Landa pw. But I will not be buying another one.
Now you think they would have butt connectors.

I don't want to give the impression that Pressure Pro isn't a good Hot water machine, I think it is. I made the decision to by this machine because they used all name brand, quality parts, Beckett Burner, General TS2021 Pump, Vanguard engine. I truly believe, the majority of the problems that we experienced were stemmed from poor workmanship on the wiring, and a poor design on the oil pressure switch, and obviously no quality control as these things go out the door like this, but your only as good as your worst employee.

Would I buy another Pressure Pro..... I know if I ordered it through Russ, I would get a machine with a HydroTec label on it regardless of what I ordered. Either way, Russ truly stood behind what he sold, and I think he would do it again if that what his customers wanted, because that's all that matters to Russ, Give the customer what they want! Truly commendable.

Glad russ took care of touchy this is not the first headache thread with pressure pro involved in it. I won't ever purchase another pressurepro skid cold or hot as I don't support cheap and poor quality craftsmanship. Hydrotek or Especially will get my money next.
