Longer hose(s)

By a show of hands, would you recommend getting a 200' length or 2 - 100' lengths?

I'm leaning towards the 2 sections, but would like some input.

I have always bought 100' hose lengths. One hose breaks and I keep working or just attach another 100' backup. I have a lot of jobs where only 100' section is needed and I would rather not add the wear and tear to an extra length of hose that I don't need.

Have 2 200 footers. Can't get em to burst. Have 2 100 footers and several 50 footers as back ups

130 ft hoses as I just like that extra length to keep stuff from getting over sprayed onto our units. We have various lengths of add on hoses as that we keep in our trucks as well.

Tony,

Do you have a roller setup of some kind to protect your hoses from the edge of the roof line? Just curious how you protect your hoses on that.

Whats your main work? I like a one piece 300' hose for flat work. Not a huge deal generally but the fittings are a restriction, they do snag around corners and they get ground down. Those in-the-field hose repair ends really do work if a hose blows.

My primary is flat work, secondary is everything else. I've got a job coming up in a mobile home park where I can't get my equipment close enough to reach everything (which is my reason for asking).

Multiple sections are probably the best solution (at this point) and I can always put tennis balls at the connections to protect them.

100' foot plus a 75' and 3 @ 50' with 2 50' as back up. And a 75' water supply hose going into a 225 gallon buffer tank. Nowhere we can't go with that much hose.

I have rollers on the lift but not for the roof corners. Any ideas?
