Long night, Cops, hydrants, beggers and so on

Sounds like you need to have a talk with the local PD. That is insane that they would harass you like that.
Insane surely is the right word..oh and TOO much time on their hands..I'd be irritated and give them lip. Probably ask them if they ever worked in a real city before where people work all sorts of hours and actually value a clean work environment.

i posted the wrong photo above about moving too slow. Look at this one, we fixed the far right side of the photo, we were moving too fast and it caused the area to not be cleaned so well. I will try going back over this area tonight with the 15045's and see what happens with it but i cannot promis much more to the owner im afraid. Its kinda like the car that hasn't been washed in 20 years and them expecting it to shine line new

Is that them yellowish spores I still see? Same as Nick, I say spray the love on after. Sometimes that sporey stuff wants 6% and no less so xjet might not be best to get rid of it. Some such stuff is easier than others and only needs a couple/few percentage.

Accept my apologies for the cop rants. I haven't had good experiences with them and they've wasted a lot of our work time in the past. (This started years ago when I was a workers comp fraud investigator and they constantly burned my stakeouts just because they could and because our biggest fraud account was the Santa Clara sheriffs dept.)

imagine that !!! hahaha

That would really piss me off having them waste my time like that. That's not what we pay their salaries for. Go have a talk with someone down at the station.

I called the PD tonight before arriving and informed the dispatcher to let everyone know I would be working tonight again not to bother me essentually but in a nicer tone. All went well, no cops, and no meter on the hydrant so everything was real good. I really like to see green water when im cleaning a center. Makes me want to eat at their restaurants and shop there. The place was covered in mold on top then under that there was a layer of algae that was gross and smelled like urine

The last photo is of a fuel station that is extremely large. They do all PW'ing in house and i cannot over come that as of now. Look at the sidewalks. Were talking hundreds of stores not a few

I guess I'm lucky here, I have never had a problem with the cops while out working, they use me for their eyes and ears so they leave us alone and just wave as they drive by.

Nice looking Job by the way too.

thats funny!!!!

That is some crappy work and they probably do not care, just as long as it looks better than it did.

It would be nice if you could say somthing to get them to pay a pro to have it done right but it might be a losing battle and waste of your time.

I will be persistant with them over the next year or two. Eventually they will see that i can do it for them cheaper and better then they can

Maybe they do care about something other than "not spending money" so if you find out what that is, maybe use that for a selling point??????

Good Luck.

HAHA!.. now that sounds like a threat..lol... It's like hey do you know you can get fined thousands and thousands of dollars for that water running down that drain. Tell it to him with pictures. No mercy for station operators runnin their clerks out there all untrained and out of their job description.

True true..bigger fish in the sea anyways least as far as the little stations. Stip malls though I'd keep on them with lots of pics. Snail mail and fax them!

Dude that is not really 'done' persay but if I know stations I know it probably 1000 X's better then it was before they started. They get horrid out here beyond belief especially when the station hasn't yet had their water/oil seperator install yet...
And you know what guys, these mofo station operators that don't get done regular know full well of the risks involved in not recovering yet when they do have it done often times they purposely stay clear of the process hoping that things can't come back on them. Have had plenty of convo with station owners when I work in another capacity of doing their inside floors. It is a game of saving money and avoiding the big bills. They need a wakeup call/ bmp in their faces.. Mark has one up over on TGS ;)

I have thought of mentioning stricter enforcement of the CWA in my area and have spoken with the local agencys lately asking numerous questions to educate myself and also to get this on their minds

Some places just do not have the manpower yet to enforce it but like some places like California, San Antonio and Houston They are enforcing it and giving out fines and sometimes a warning, it is just a matter of time for other places.

I really think that you would be just wasting your time and effort talking to some of those people. If you want to learn more, read the older posts on the boards or just call Ron, he knows a lot. He can guide you in the right direction.
