I got a guy whants me to was 20 Pig trailers every night.
I need to know if any body out there has done this stuff and how much?
One of the drivers is a friend & He says it takes 45min for one man per trailer. Any help will be appreciated.

45 mins or an hour is about right. UNLESS THEY ARE FROZEN! Winter time they put alot more of those wood chips in the trailers. Also, it's not just one big open trailer on the inside. They have decking. Alot of people wash them out themself during the summer time. Winter time is when they get really bad. Go take a look at one before you price it. I would do a hourly rate. Some take alot longer than others.

An hourly rate would be great, but if you do them daily, you will likely get a good system down and do it rather quick and might prefer a set price! If you don't have to worry about water, more is better. Heat will make your work area hard to see in, but once you know the motions, it's your best friend!
We never have had freezing problems here (not to brag), but I would think that can ruin your night!

Ron is right these are a nasty job. I used to wash these in my truck wash bay and it would stink for a long time. I agree with Andy on the pricing we were in the 100-150 range on a regular wash also. If you are doing them every night they should be fairly easy and not too full so you may be able to trim that back a bit. I wouldn't go below $60-80 each though and only if they are done nightly. If you want to cut the time down get a high flow machine 8-10 gpm and you should be able to clean them in 20 min or less.

I am going wed to watch the prosses and to get an idea what it is they are expecting. Thanks for the help and I am prety sure my wife will not wash the cloths when I am done. They have a 12gpm hot water hose they use the psi is around 600 they said. So if i can get a long enogh contract mabe we will get a 8gpm machine.

THANKS A LOT GUYS!!!!

Sounds like they are looking for an employee not a contractor if they are providing the equipment. Why would they pay $800 (@$40) to $1,500 a day when they could pay a couple of $12 and hour guys to do it? I've cleaned plenty of pig crap and it ain't rocket science but it sure gags you.
