A customer asked me what I was going to use on his roof. I told him sodium hypochlorite. if he looks it up, it will say chlorine. I was bored, thought that would be funny.

That is a good answer Lenny

The thing is that actual chlorine is a gas I believe. The liquid stuff is sodium hypochlorite. No lies at all. Good answer.

I tell h.o.'s I use an idustrial strength chlorine based solution thats mixed with water and a specialized soap with strong cleaning agents yadayada you get the point. Half the time they can smell it anyway so whats the difference?

My clients have no desire to climb ladders and attampt to spray bleach on their roof. They really dont care what I use, they just want it done.

No white lies here.

When asked, I tell my customers that I use sodium hypochlorite (along with our own blend of herbs and spices), commonly known as chlorine and not bleach, which usually will also contain sodium hydroxide - a degreaser and not recommended for cleaning asphalt shingles.
