printed tee shirts or hats with your co. logo or name. A free tee shirt turns everyone who wears it into a salesman for your sercvice.
Anyone use giveaways to help biz?
Printed beach balls,pens,frizbee's,ect....
What about sponsering something?
Is this just throwing away money?
I know some give fridge magnets with an est.
 
I think the magnet thing is a good solid idea.

Giving t shirts away can go either way.........what if some guy wearing it acts like a jerk off.........then everyone will associate you with him...........just a thought.
 
I use the T-shirts, but only give them to friends & family. (and occasionally a good customer) It's pretty neat to be grocery shopping and see one of your shirts a couple isles over, or drive past the gas station and see a shirt at the pumps.

Mike is right about idiots being associated to your business, and the flip side of that is that i think it's really neat that people want to be associated with my business. I guess keeping control of who gets the shirts is the key.

I haven't sponsered anything yet. I know when I see a bunch of kids running around with a company sponsered uniform, I think "that company really gave something back to the community, and helped the kids". That's just good PR, and another way to get your name out there. Win-Win for everyone, I think.

I was thinking of a gift/advertisment for people that land me more work. A perk. A shirt or gadget.
Something to do with cleaning.
I like the mug
 
Ron I have tried them all,,, the note pads are the best. My competitors hate getting messages from their customers on my pads. I even have been told that if they don’t start giving us pads we will have to hire you.. Of course they are joking.

The Mugs work for property management people.

T-shirts and ball caps for contractors and mechanical pencils.


Calendars are also great but very expensive.
