Lets hear it for the "good" cops!

Apparently there was no lawsuit filed by her. Also apparent (if this is true) is the "boys club" did a good job of convincing her not to pursue any sort of litigation.

If there was a city where all cops or even 80 percent of them had 1/2 the balls of this lady I'd move there just to support them with taxes

Here's a good one!

Correction, she WAS a good one.

I am surprised at you guys. Apparently you did not do your research on this one. She was fired after a series of hearings by the Governing body of the municipality, not the police department and she has a federal lawsuit that is on-going. It would be nice to see the entire video, not just an excerpt to show what actually occurred and why the case went the way that it did. But hey, why should the whole truth matter on the cop bashing forum here at PWI. This place is pathetic.

Micheal stop your profiling here on PWI, this is just people with individual thoughts. Your here on PWI, so should we let your police dept know your against them? SEE how Stupid that Sounds.

Please do not include the staff or the members for others actions here.

This thread is (was suppose) to highlight "good cops" and their positive efforts.

No, I didn't research that particular case, but I think the point was that the woman officer was doing what was right (protecting the boy).

I suppose this is a good example of both "good cop" & "bad cop".

Checkmate Steven.

He will not be back now, at least not with anything coherent.

Derrel, this is a case of one good cop surrounded by a bunch of bad ones.

Let allow me to bring out the facts as reported below:

Michael, are you on some kind of medication?

You act as if her firing has nothing to do with the incident, when the newspapers report that it was clearly BECAUSE OF THE INCIDENT.

http://www.northjersey.com/news/172645821_Officer_Tasca_s_case_continues.html

And, true to form they brought up an instance from a month before to try to tag her with because she reportedly "didn't help" another officer - in an attempt to stick her with 20 CHARGES from those two incidences!!!!!!

http://www.nj.com/bergen/index.ssf/...e_officer_i_was_stopping_excessive_force.html

Further, they sent her to the same psychologist they all have to go to who proclaimed her fit for duty four months ago, and now mysteriously, all the sudden she is "not fit for duty".

This Lady deserves a medal.

Everytime you take up for this crap you show what you are. You are the perfect representation of the police in this country.

You are like the gift that keeps on giving.

I bring up a good cop and you try to prove that even that one is worthless.

I'll try to look for some more good ones.

Wish me luck.

go to 2.04 of the video . look at the officer in the middle. notice the forehead all scrunched up, look at the amount of force the female is using to try and remove him, almost ripped more than one button off his shirt. the middle officer was out of control and that is unacceptable. it doesnt matter who fired her michael, they fired her because she crossed the line. I am sure being gay and a female didnt help her either.

Yeah, the reports says she's gay. I don't see where it matters in this case. But that's the only card she has to play. She is playing against a stacked deck. When she was fired the natural testosterone level of the entire department was probably cut in half.

This lady had eleven years on the job. She wasn't some newbie.
