Does anyone know of a school, seminar, or any other type course out there within a couple hundred miles of Jackson Ms that i could learn to clean roofs. I have pressured washed on and off for about 25 years but have never done roofs.I am wanting to get more into it but I also believe I would be doing my customer and insurance co. a big dis-service if I don't learn how to do it right. My back ground has been mainly flat work and houses.Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Your best bet will be a R/T

i am planning on attending but i am trying to get some hands on without riisking damaging someones roof because i jumped out there and did something i was'nt qualified to do. better to learn a little first.

Try some Labor for Learning. Team up with another contractor (not to close as to avoid competition) and work with them for a couple days.

try your own first

i'm not sure if your roof needs cleaning but if so i would start with that one first. if it's clean you can experiment with just water or even a housewash mix. a housewash mix is what some of the guys use for a scheduled maintenance. family members are also a good souce of training. do you already have equipment? if so, what?

GET WITH Michael Kreisle of First Choice Power Washing or DJ Carroll Of Easy Pro Property Services.. They Have Alot Of Experiance in Roof Cleaning......

Spot check any chemicals you use, even on your own roof...
If your wife is anything like mine, damaging your own roof is just as stressful and expensive as damaging a customer's!
