Last minute help needed!

I just received an offer to do a job this Sunday at a fast food joint. If all goes well, there are several others in the area that the manager is interested in having me clean. Apparently, he rented a pressure washer last week, but had a hell of a time around the drive through with the car grease and that is why he called me. As many of you know, I am very new to the industry, and have never used any chemicals before. My question is not so much "What is the best chemical to use", I can use the search for that. My questions is, "What is the best chemical for me to use right now?" Obviously, its only a couple days away, so I don't have time to place an order and wait for it to be shipped, and I would rather not have to have something delievered next day and pay $$$. I've seen some chemicals at Home Depot for pressure washers, but I don't know how helpful these will be. Any last minute ideas? The manager is going to be there to watch me, so I really would like to put on a good "show". I'm using a Tuff super skid 3000 @ 5.6 and a Big Guy surface cleaner. As always, thanks for your time.

its expensive, home depot carries a chemical called Jasco concrete cleaner. i have used it and it works good. its caustic based and can damage other things,,, be careful and read the label...

Kris i would have called you back but the number i wrote down i couldnt reach you.. call em again or e-mail me your number. really wanted to tell you about the surface cleaner. i can fix your problem..

Did he rent a hot water washer, when he did it, you do realize that in all likely hood you will not get all the oil out of the concrete, if he used hot water, he may have removed most of what will readily come off. Just a heads up.

Home Depot also carries Zep Purple degreaser. Not as good as some of the other stuff you can order, but it'll do in a pinch.

purple stuff

Purple stuff works well (straight or 1/1). Do you have a hot water unit? and don't really expect ALL the oil to come up

Good Luck,

JOHN

Ron give you good advise,go with it.

Also if your wanting his bussiness and he's going to be where to watch do not let him know what your useing to get it off,if he ask which he will b/c he can do the same as you if he knew what to use, meaning don't shot yourself out of the saddle if your wanting his business,If he ask show him the msda sheet.

(had a hell of a time around the drive through with the car grease and ""that"" is "why" """he "called me"".)

If you'll read between the lines he did ok elsewhere only the drive though did he have hell,he's a manager looking to save the company money b/c he was washing the lot himself, teach him how or show him what you used you can guess where he's going to tell you to go,yel that place b/c he's out to climb the latter for himself..good luck.
