My smart phone is replacing the lap top.

We will be online with proposal writing in the field Monday.

I purchased 5 of these today as it was our choice over the moto Q.'

I have used moto products all my life, this phone is a piece of junk

Please buy any other smart phone.

After we train sales people we will be changing our driver to these to recieve and turn in work orders.

We already have video and picture messaging.

I was looking at these for my wife and I this way it would be smaller than my 15.4 dell laptop and communications would be better . I usually e-mai contracts in from the laptop to the office computer if we pick up any work while out of town.. Heck my buddy that has a clening and fir equipment business still carrys a paper date book and a whole buch of forms around with him .. He even has the Old Black Nokia Cellphone.. Let me know how this works for you..

I would but they kept breaking them, we actually have three dells on the way. We wont be able to get rid of them all together but most of us will be able to use the smart phones fulltime.
 
I have had the new motorola Q9m from verizon for about a month now and I really like it. I'm just now starting to use the calender to plan out the month and arrange meetings. I'm sure more can be done with it, just have not gotten that far yet. Ron, how are you doing estimates with the smart phone? Excel? I have yet to try to see if I can easily use quickbooks and print invoices in the truck..

That the problem with the Q, cant change or manipulate e-mailed docs.

You have to create them in the phone.

I have a windows based and now i can. I can also surf the real web not mobile web.

The phone is great, I will be selling a Q maybe two of them sometime next month.

HTC, I have never heard of the brand but it has been out for awhile.

My only probem is i just replaced my network with Vista.

I have two machines running and still can access old docs with the phone over the net.

Its great.........

It will not work with my marketing software until they get a vista mobile in the phone. I was told they will be upgradable.
 
ron, who makes the phone ? and what service(co) do you have to use?

Do you email your invoices? Do you have them customized for pressure washing?
Could you possibly email me one so I can get some ideas how to set up mine.
I have a basic one, but I am not familiar with qb's enough to know what it is capable of doing.
I am absorbing information from everyone for their ideas on invoices and contracts, so if you have any cool ones and would like to share them ....just drop me an email!!

wow...no bluetooth? That's kinda weird to not have that nowadays. It's illegal now in California to drive and talk without a handsfree...

Phone looks cool though and seems like it would do everything. Is there anything special about it compared to any other pda phone? I know a few people with the iphone and they all say that it is the shizzle.
