Landa machines

Why does Landa's surface cleaners ( in the catalog ) have their specs by PSI and not GPM?

I was just curious if anyone knows why they do it this way.

That is true, it only shows the psi, not the gpm.

I like the idea of the cyclone without the height adjustment.

That is ok, you could always put a "T" and ball valve there and a few feet of pressure hose if you wanted to run a gun/wand from the surface cleaner.

What I do is keep the wand resting on the surface cleaner and when I need to use the wand, just block the ball valve, (on the end of the pressure hose) disconnect from the surface cleaner then connect to the gun/wand and do what I need, that way I have a lot more hose to do the cleaning instead of a few feet that is connected to the surface cleaner.

I do like the idea of having a pipe holder for the gun/wand on the surface cleaner, works better than what I do now. Time to modify my surface cleaner with a gun holder.

Chris remember the Cyclone has medium duty bearings compared to the water jet's heavy duty.

I wonder what the cost would be to get the cyclone with the heavy duty bearing (probably the deublin)? That would be a great machine.

Very maneuverable, light weight, tires on the back so straighter paths, etc... sounds like a good idea to me.

I called Whisper Wash and asked the guy there if they could put the handle and tires from the Big Guy onto the Classic and he said that nobody has ever asked about doing that. He told me that it would have to go to their engineers to see if it would make it back-heavy which might be the case.

They can do that with the 24" surface cleaners they sell.

I asked about what the cost for the handle and wheel assembly for the Big Guy and it is about $250.00.

I think it might work on the classic, you might have to add weight to the front.

They told me a while back to change the 24" to the little big guy, it is only like $50.00 extra to put the solid handle and tires on the surface cleaner.

It would be nice if they could do that with the classic, that would be cool.
