just saying hello,,, evryone Post in this thread

Hello from the Florida Keys.

I've been in the business since 1990 and have seen many changes in our industry over the past two decades.

I have a very exciting job and love my work. I'm a veteran and used my experience in the Army to help me sell cleaning systems when I got out. I'm the guy that is honored to keep our fighting men and women stocked with cleaning equipment. I have placed more than 15,000 pressure washers in applications ranging from cleaning Air Force One, to washing nuclear bombs, to stripping barnacles off warships, to washing out the cages of the seals the Navy has trained to retrieve dummy practice bombs. But the most rewarding part of my job is getting to speak with our heroes in Iraq and Afghanistan on a daily basis. The most important thing I do is make sure they get what they need in the fastest way possible.

Every day is a new learning experience, just when you think you have heard it all, another off the wall washing application comes up. I just sold one to our embassy in Viet Nam, I didn't even know we had an embassy there again.

I'm enjoying reading the threads here from people that use the equipment. The forum looks to be a great resource for people who want to expand their opportunities.

A webiste in your signature is Helpful, remember your a Distributor on the BBS so please remember that if you want to sell products your fourms are near the bottom. All the help and assistance to contractors is appreciated.

Welcome to PWI

Thanks Ron, I didn't put any website info on my profile because I'm not a distributor and can't sell to commercial customers. I'm contractually bound to only sell to the military.

I like the application discussions here. I hope I'll be allowed to participate.

Geez! It's been quite awhile since I've been on here! I was just reading back where I had sold a load of old "Cleaner Times" mags to Ron, thinking that I was just about to retire after nearly 30 years in this business. as it turns out, I'm still at it! I will have to try and get on here more often. Great people and valuable info here.

Bill I still have those two cases of mags, I'm talking to a colleague to possibly go back and do follow up stories. You might actually be a guy to also do a story on. Not many of us 30 year guys around.

Good to see ya , happy holidays.
