A large company that operates in the above states are looking for washers.

There are IMMEDIATE wash jobs in Texas and especially in the Houston area that need to be serviced NOW.

This is the initial requirement that I received in order to bid on the job(s):

Looking for a power washer to clean large areas of bird matter at various locations in Houston, TX as well as in Texas....have a job now that is several large areas both floor and walls at a manyfacturing plant and will have others in the future. The washer must be able to collect and dispose of the matter without sending it down the sewer.

If you are interested and have all your insurance and etc. in order, please email me!

Carlos, do you still need someone for the Houston jobs?

I'm not equipped to reclaim, but I know a guy that is and I might be able to get him to bid it out.

David,

No need for a residual as this opportunity came to the UAMCC and it would be inappropriate for the organization to look for a paid lead and/or anytype of residual....consider this one "on the house" but I do expect you to join the UAMCC when we are up and running.

Now, if you want to make a donation to help the organization then I don't see why you can't.

click on the link ...double click on the donate button and off you go.

Thanks again David!

Hi Carlos,
abcpressurewashing@hotmail.com.

If you still have info to share, I would like to review it for consideration.
Houston now requires recovery anywhere on anything and to also carry operator and vehicle permits for dump stations, along with dump manifest'.
Not to mention that the dump station must also be an approved dump site by the city.

Some of us are in compliance, most are not to be honest.

Nonetheless, if it can be weaved into the schedule, I may be able to legally help you out.
Thanks

Thanks Adrian everyone appreciates your explanation of the laws for Houston
also appreciate that you can legally do this job if you are able to weave it in your schedule I especially like your statement "Some of us are in compliance, most are not to be honest".

might be more appropriate to say Carlos please send me more information..

Hey Adrian

Can you send me a copy of that ordinance so I can be legal in Houston....Thx Gene

I am disappointed that Adrian chose to bring this up suggesting he's one of the chosen few
that is allowed to operate in Houston legally. I believe the purpose of theses forums are to encourage
others to join and learn from our experiences not to bash a fellow pressure washer

Here is information on city of Houston permitting http://www.houstontx.gov/health/Environmental/Pressure Washer Permit Application 2007.pdf

basically Houston as well as other cities and some states are enforcing Federal Law clean water act

simply put they don't want you to put anything down a storm sewer and in some or most cases in any drain period.
doesn't matter even if you don't use chemicals

it doesn't matter if you use home depot pressure washer or a full blown
hot water skid

also their is a lot of confusion with my local disturbers some have suggested
I buy a filtration unit 3000-5000 dollars and than I can put in sanitary sewer line
I was at ramteq landa and hydo tek 3 wholesalers in Houston and they also
said confusion on their part as well

Carlos, Thanks for the info. I sent it to a couple of guys I know here. Both reclaim everything, and are fully licensed to carry and dump gray water.

Im gonna take you up on the cabin offer one of these days!

Here is a perfect example of a city trying to overide federal and state Clean water act Doesn't anyone in Houston know that they are not required to haul waste or reclaim on all pressure washing done?

Here is way the way I read the CWA

The most common method of compliance with the CWA is to prevent process wastewater discharges to waters of the United States. If your discharge does not reach waters of the United States, then there are no requirements under the CWA. Examples of compliance without a discharge are vacuuming up the process wastewater or berming the process water and allowing it to evaporate. An additional method of compliance is to discharge the water to an NPDES permitted sanitary sewer system (the municipality may have additional pretreatment requirements before accepting your discharge). The most common form of non-compliance is to discharge the process water into a storm sewer system or into a city street that drains to a storm water inlet. Most storm drainage systems in Region 6 discharge directly to waters of the United States without treatment, which means anything that discharges into a storm drain is the same as putting it directly into the waterbody receiving the storm drain discharge.

Looks like we have our very own lowballer on the site. When you have to bash the competition to "get ahead", you must not have too much confidence in your own work.

Jesus christ. Can we have 1 thread go to completion without everyone bashing everyone else. Grown damn men acting like children in a school yard constantly. If you cant help out with the leads provided, or assist someone else who can, DONT POST ANYTHING. THIS THREAD IS NOT FOR YOU. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Scott well said I agree. the problem is their was no reason at all for Adrians post
Lets suppose I made the statement "90 % of all roof washer in houston are breaking the law and are operating illegally but i'm not... right after you made a post asking for information on possible lead
I suspect you would be swinging with both arms ......period
