"It's a "soapy solution" NOT a "chemical"!!!" LOL

I guess a neutral ph degreaser is not a chemical anymore, does that mean we all can call our concrete cleaners "Soapy Solutions"? ? ? ?

What a con man.

The Gum Buster segment on Dirty Jobs was a lot better, this guy obviously tried to copy Dirty Jobs' Mike Rowe.

It's not a con, everything is a chemical, go to the grocery store and read the back of any package.
It's about avoiding negative words. I prefer to use the word "detergents" and speak in terms of "PH" versus saying caustic or acid.

caustic degreaser = high PH detergent

Ask your wife if she'd rather soak her hair in some Clairol Herbal Essences, True Intense Color, Honey Fusion or Diethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether.
This morning I shaved with a solution of Palmitic acid, Stearic acid, Isobutane, Isopentane and Triethanolamine but the can said it was Edge Shave Gel.

The gum buster people use a ph7 degreaser (sometimes called ph neutral) product, not a caustic degreaser or a high ph degreaser.

I never said he did, just used that as an example of avoiding negative words and still being factual...and showing that he's not a con man for doing the same thing 99.99% of manufactures do.

Who knows who knows what combination of two "chemicals" we use regularly produces salt water when combined? What could be less of a chemical than salt water?

Sodium hydroxide reacts with protic acids to give water and the corresponding salts. For example, with hydrochloric acid, sodium chloride is formed:
<dl style="margin-top: 0.2em; margin-bottom: 0.5em; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; line-height: 19px; "><dd style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-left: 1.6em; margin-bottom: 0.1em; margin-right: 0px; ">NaOH(aq) + HCl(aq) → NaCl(aq) + H[SUB]2[/SUB]O(l)

In other words,

Caustic - neutralized with Pool Acid - makes Salt Water.

Wow. Deadly! We must save the children from the Salt Water!!!!!!! lol.</dd></dl>

I never said that you said he was a con man.

For the love of God would someone please fix the reply with quote feature!

I forgot that there is a quote feature, it has not worked for me in weeks now.

Not sure what happened but it does not work with firefox or internet explorer.

I have not made any changes with any of my computers so I am not sure what is going on here.
