Isn't it funny?

I'm sorry, I'm very opinionated........ I just think this is ridiculous. I dont know why i have not gotten any myself.

Seems i probably will sooner or later, Beth And I are freinds. I can handle her decision. after all its her BBS, She and Rod pay the Bills.

anyone wants to use PWI for venting go ahead. I think having a venting forum closed to the public is the best idea i have thought of. Now we need to sell it to the guy in charge. If Grant likes the idea then we will. if he doesnt then thats his choice.

You mean on the Free to have an opinion as long as it is the same as mine board?

Mike, no they make profit..... none are non-profit like this one. this is it!!!!!!!!!! period.

Do you get it, all have operating expense. this is the only one that doesnt make money. again Period........

I agree...I didn't mean to imply that the amount of money generated by ad space, selling products, whatever, was EXACTLY the amount it cost to run the board in both money and time. Where's the problem in that? I have gotten a lot of useful information from Beth's board, as well as this one, Steve's board, Delco, PWN, PWNA, and even Justin's board (for the short time it lived). Why should I have a problem if any of the owners of those boards profit from their existence. They're a lot of work, as you know in your attempts over the years to get someone to run this one properly. Now that Grant is running things, this board is back to what it used to be, a great place to share information and learn.

As I've said...I have never been censored or banned from Beth's board, and I have certainly been a jerk there in the past...Why the huge problem some have with rules? I'm sure there are ways I could cross the line here and get kicked out. The owner of the board sets the rules, and enforces those as needed. If you're asked to stop doing something, and you persist, expect something to be done.

What possible reason could a person have for deleting dozens of their prior posts, replacing them with "TGS 4 Life"??? That's nothing but vindictive and destructive...threads that now don't make a lot of sense because the initial thread, to which others have responded, now says "TGS 4 Life". Just plain stupidity, IMHO. That's the kind of crap that I don't understand...If you don't like it there, then leave, but why go out of your way to make things harder for someone you apparently don't like?

Sorry about the f*** usage...I was simply mimicing what Matt had said...BTW, this is what "Cleaning Talk" is: www.cleaningtalk.com Another pretty nice board, focused on all aspects of the cleaning trades, not just PW.

Again Mike you do not know the whole story. The owners of that board would probably never disclose the complete story. This was proven when one sided conversations were forwarded to " The Org" that only exposed my defending my opinion. (The antagonistic messages fired upon me were not shared, just my replies to those attacks) I was taking heavy fire for standing my ground. I was censored because I disagreed on a touchy subject. I used one noun that is not an obscenity, it just struck a nerve.
I feel I should have been censored all along if that's what the board is all about.

SCREW IT IT'S OVER, RON Infract me if you must, how long do we wallow in this ****???

Mike,

I don't think there is a problem with erasing a post. I've erased things I've said in the past if it was off the cuff and hurtful. When I had an issue at TGS over a censorship issue, I almost went back and deleted my posts, at least the informative ones. My reason was that if I wasn't allowed to give my opinions freely on controversial things, then I had no interest of others coming to that board and gaining from my knowledge that I've dispersed through answering questions, etc. Some of which are much more informative than others. Maybe that is what Jason was doing, he was either embarrassed with what he wrote and eliminating it, or didn't want others learning from what he had to say. Either way, that's his right and not the intellectual property of a bbs IMO.

I just see it as destructive...There's really no reason for it. It doesn't accomplish anything but damaging threads that others may have been able to benefit from. What's the point???

Exactly that Fife!!!

I was not embarrassed I felt that if I was going to have my (male Chicken) stepped on just because I had a different view on the Org...I should have had my (male Chicken) squashed the whole time and my contribution means nothing if it is censored or edited by the Holier than Thou site owner.

i thought the arguement was starting back up ....... anyway i went to the grime scene and i saw "the movie game" ...... is there a "music game" too ? i didnt look real hard ,not that it matters i was just curious ,since that was the topic of this thread

Yep! There's even a Scripture Game thread!
