Is Craigslist a Waste of Time?

I have gotten driveways from it but they really are not the kinda customers you want. Plus you get people calling you and emailing you that don't have anything to do with what you posted even know it says not to do that. IDK I think its a hit and miss.
 
Ran a nice ad w/ a photo a few years ago and basically got tire kickers and people looking for service on the cheap. Got one job from it that was decent. Ran the ad for about six months to get a good read. I can spend my time better in other areas.
 
I agree with Bryan that it is free and it getting your business exposure. When we use it we are looking more to drive people to our website. We haven't gotten a lot from CL but we have gotten some good ones as well as tire kickers. Also I notice a lot of small office businesses seem to check CL when they are looking for something.
